Searching for Apollo

Acclaimed British photographer Alistair Morrison and musician Roger Daltrey of The Who have joined forces to create a legacy photograph featuring over 70 musicians: The Adoration – Searching For Apollo.

The artwork was unveiled at a gala reception attended by many of the participating musicians in the Raphael Room of London’s Victoria & Albert Museum on Monday 13 November.

Daltrey and Morrison invited a select group of musicians, of which Peter is one, to sit for the project, which aims to support Daltrey’s charities; Teenage Cancer Trust and Teen Cancer America.

As well as Peter other musicians to feature include Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Ray Davies, Rod Stewart, Billy Idol, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, George Clinton, Bruce Springsteen, Smokey Robinson, James Taylor, Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey, Ringo Starr, and Jon Bon Jovi.

The piece will ultimately be part of a trilogy, with influential female musicians the focus for the second piece, and a third work depicting today’s rising stars.
