The first is on Thursday 20 October, from 6-7.30pm, ET, at Rizzoli Bookstore (1133 Broadway), where he will be in conversation with his daughter Anna Gabriel about her new book EYE-D, a series of extreme close-up photographs that focus the man-made lens on the human one. Featured in the book are images of Susan Sarandon, Eddie Vedder, David Byrne, Paul Simon, Annie Lennox, Sting and Peter himself, to name but a few. There will be a signing afterwards.
The second is the next day, Friday 21 October, from 3-4pm, ET, at Strand Book Store, (3rd floor Rare Book Room at 828 Broadway on 12th Street) where he will be signing copies of the new book Reverberation: Do Everything Better with Music alongside author Keith Blanchard. In the book you’ll discover the amazing work happening at the intersection of music, science, technology, and medicine. The authors spoke to dozens of neuroscientists making exciting breakthroughs, as well as top recording artists like David Byrne, Branford Marsalis, Hans Zimmer, Mick Fleetwood, and Sheila E. to gain the music maker’s perspective.
There will also be a talk about Reverberation at NeueHouse Madison Square on Friday 21 October, between Peter and author Keith Blanchard, which will be moderated by Oberon Sinclair. Doors open at 7pm and tickets available here.
Registration in advance is required for all the events, so please visit the links to Rizzoli, Strand books and NeueHouse, if you are interested in attending.
