The Bob Moog Foundation has just announced its fall fundraising raffle, with the chance to win a fully restored vintage Minimoog signed by Peter Gabriel.
Tickets to enter the raffle are available now until October 28, 2024 at 11:59 pm (EST). The raffle is open internationally. All proceeds benefit the three hallmark projects of the Bob Moog Foundation and funding from this raffle will be particularly important as the Foundation and the Moogseum navigate the damaging effects of Hurricane Helene, which ravaged their hometown of Asheville, NC.
“The Bob Moog Foundation provides the opportunity for children and adults to explore the science of sound through their educational programs. I am very happy to support their work by signing this legendary synthesizer.” – Peter Gabriel
The Minimoog being raffled is serial number 8538, created in Moog Music’s Williamsville factory in the mid-1970s. The Minimoog was fully restored by lauded restorationist Kent Spong Restorations, whose three decades of synthesizer restoration has included work for Hans Zimmer, Vangelis, and hundreds of others. On the back of the Minimoog, Peter has inscribed, “To the Bob Moog Foundation. Hello. Love, Peter Gabriel, 04-09-2024”.
