Remembering Rhinos

Last year Peter gave permission for his song Don’t Give Up to be used for a promotional film supporting a book of photographs of elephants. The project was the brain child of conservationist and wildlife photographer Margot Raggett.

Money generated from the sale of the book went towards fighting poaching on the ground in various projects in Africa.

The same team are now behind a similar project to raise much needed funds in the protection of rhinos. The book Remembering Rhinos will be a beautiful coffee table book, created with the aim of raising funds to fight rhino poaching and protect this endangered species. All images will be generously donated by some of the world’s top wildlife photographers, ensuring it will be a stunning and collectable tribute.

You can find out more from the Kickstarter Campaign here.

The campaign video for the the Kickstarter features footage of the last remaining male white rhino, called Sudan. Sudan was the inspiration behind the Real World Records’ artist 9Bach’s song Yr Olaf. Read more about how Sudan inspired the song on the 9Bach website.
