Plays Live will be available again on 2CD format from 19 March.
For many years the Highlights 1CD version has been the default CD version for the album, but we thought it was about time that the full 16 track, 2CD version became the standard edition.
We were at the point where a repress of Highlights was required, so this seemed like a good moment to make the change.
The audio for this version is Tony Cousins’ 2002 remaster: the same source file used for the current digital releases and the recent LP re-issue + download. If you have the Geffen 2CD release or the Japanese mini-vinyl CDs from 2002, then, again, this is the same.
