The Music Producers Guild Awards, held in association with Dolby and Mix With The Masters, took place at the Troxy in London last night.

Peter was honoured with the inaugural MPG Pioneer Award which is bestowed upon a person whose ‘unparalleled legacy has shaped the ever-evolving landscape of the music industry.’

Current head engineer at Real World Studios, Katie May, won the Recording Engineer of the Year award, whilst former head engineer Oli Jacobs was nominated in the Mix Engineer of the Year category. Both worked on Peter’s album i/o.

Other winners included Paul Epworth, who received the Icon Award, Lauren Laverne who took home the MPG Special Recognition Award and Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) who received the Outstanding Contribution To UK Music, presented by PPL.
