Alan Parker’s cult film classic ‘Birdy’, to which Peter wrote the soundtrack, has recently been restored in 2K and re-released on Blu-ray by Powerhouse Films. The restoration work has been supervised and approved by the director himself.

Also included in the Blu-ray release is a new audio commentary by Alan Parker and the BFI’s Justin Johnson, an interview with Matthew Modine remembering his time working on the film, an archival interview with Peter talking about making the music for the film and Parker’s early film ‘No Hard Feelings’ – and lots more.

In conjunction with Powerhouse Films we have the Blu-ray available on the Real World Store for a special bundle price with your choice of LP or CD.
