Listen to an 'And I'll Scratch Yours' album sampler

With the release of Peter's album And I'll Scratch Yours just a couple of weeks away we thought it would be a good time to share again some of the music and interviews we've been posting on Facebook over the last few weeks, in case you missed anything. To kick us off here's the album sampler so you can get a flavour of all the songs on the album…

The reciprocating artists on And I'll Scratch Yours opted for differing approaches to Peter's songs. A few chose to radically reinterpret the original material, in the process leaving it barely recognisable - Lou Reed's snarling Solsbury Hill or the frighteningly futuristic version of Mother Of Violence by Brian Eno, co-writer of David Bowie's Heroes covered by Gabriel on Scratch My Back. Other contributors include Arcade Fire (Games Without Frontiers), Elbow (Mercy Street) and Regina Spektor (Blood Of Eden).

David Byrne on Listening Wind

Watch David Byrne talking about Peter's version of the Talking Heads track 'Listening Wind'.

David Byrne's version of 'I Don't Remember' is one of four tracks from Peter's third solo album that feature on And I'll Scratch Yours.

Mirrorball and Mercy Street

Peter Gabriel, Guy Garvey, John Metcalfe and Bob Ezrin talk about the recording of Mirrorball, and Elbow's reciprocal version of Mercy Street.

"We chose to cover Mercy Street because it's such an amazing song, It's my favourite from SO..." Guy Garvey
