Ok, i express my sincere opinion: Peter actor is terrible, he does not express anything, maybe because an actor must pretend, and Peter is too much sincere as artist that he is not able to simulate something. . . .it's difficult that an artist can act, i think to Sting (terrible), to Phil Collins (terrible) . . .something good with David Bowie yes, but it's difficult. About "Illusions": Peter sings very well and ok, but i do not like him in that performance, Peter is too much away from his way of being, so i prefer Peter aggressive and dark. Yeah. .

Sting is terrible as a singer also. Phil was excellent in Buster. Bowie, I don't like the guy in any form - but he was a great N. Tesla in The Prestige! And PG is good. I'd rather he had chosen this path instead of "humanitarian/enterpreneur/billionaire gipsy. Seeing that as a musician, he's dead and buried anyway.

Phil Collins was brilliant in Buster. I have seen that film several times, and he is awesome in it. I do only wish that he didn't use a cigarette in many of his scenes because it seemed so unnatural to see him puffing on it. Secondly, I read a while back, that PC said 'the only man he ever kissed on the lips was Robert Plant' ... hmmm, as seen in the 'You Get What You Want' video .. that has now been proven differently. I liked Recon; as dark and odd as it was. Illusions ... well, I like the way he wears a tux & I am so forever grateful, he never decided to get an earring.

But isn't Phil a smoker? He used to smoke at least: in the same A. Gallo's books he (along with Hackett & Rutherford) is sometimes pictured with a cigarette in his hand or his mouth.

I never seen "Buster", but i remember Collins in a "Miami vice" 's episode, and Bowie in the movie "Basquiat", he performed Andy Warhol, he was really fine. Sting in "Dune" , really terrible, I prefer him with his bass and his beautiful voice as singer, and Peter . . .he hasn't had a career of actor, fortunately. .

not sure if Collins smokes now. If you get a chance, please watch Buster, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I remember the Miami Vice episode you mentioned. It was a good one!! I didn't mind watching Bowie in movies such as; Labyrinth & Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence, among others. And don't forget his appearance in The Last Temptation of Christ as Pontius Pilate.

I found that a terrible, terrible movie. Apart from the soundtrack I mean.
