my wife and me, we were in peter´s performance in germany, stuttgart. we really enjoyed the whole performance though we already knew every single peace of music, not only from having listened to the album but from following the whole process of scratch my back since 2010. the audience: the first thing rather unpleasent we noticed was that in the audience , almost all the time , people were moving around while the music on the stage was played. bying beer or something to eat, keeping standing in groups and talking loudly. finally, almost at the end of the show, the artists played biko. crowds of people running to the front of the stage, dancing, holding up their arms. though the concert still took about almost have an hour, most of them kept standing in front of the rest of the audience. party? circus? the stage: it does not have to be mentioned that the dynamic and emotional expression of this phantastic crew including its crazy diamond cannot be compared with the one when you listen to the record. but we could not understand what intention and what kind of reason could be behind so much use of video and light effects. we felt it as something very disturbing . in relation to the enormous concentration in the perception of that variety of sound you had to achieve if you were willing to enjoy it, light and picture effects overtook the regiment and distracted from it by an insistent and sometimes even agressive way. i know this is a critical view of mine. and my wife. though there is more about this issue i would want to share , firstly i would like to offer space for your points. no question that this is surely something going further and getting transformed into a general question about how.. the show must go on( ? )

I have also been in 2 shows in germany last year: Munich and Oberhausen. I never made the experience in germany, that there were loud, noisy and unattentional visitors, everything was very concentrated , Munich nearly a bit too 'stiffed', Oberhausen very lively in their reaction, they really were passionated. About the video-background: For me it was perfect, especially the effects for 'Signal to noise', but I could see the musicians also in original, don't know, when I sat very far away, if I would miss the original faces aso.
