Hope for a glorius time with my small and my ursprungs-family later. With lots of presents and a good atmosphere around. I will go to church . At least I can sing in public there without beeing stopped.. At new years eve try to go to a musical and party. At least I can dance there without beeing stopped. Good intention for next year: Try, not to be stopped!

Christmas will be remembering and celebrating. Remebering, because of the loss of my dad a couple of months ago. Celebrating because of ordering PG tickets for Amsterdam next year.

Very sorry for your loss dutch - they say a man does not become a man till his father dies (don't know who "they" are) My dad died June 8, 1989 it's a hard loss Mike Rutherford wrote a beautiful song about the lost of his father. I saw the video for the first time when I went down to L.A. for my dad's funeral - I was doing okay, till I saw it - waterworks, my brother thought I was nuts Mike & The Mechanics - The living Years https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGDA0Hecw1k

About Christmas, lost all faith in Christmas and Christians - I'm a pagan - sorta go through the motions for my daughter - so we have a skinny fake tree (not allowed a real one in these apartments) with little red lights - should be interesting - enjoy doing the whole turkey dinner thang (and the eating) Hope you get at least one fun present - like a big wet kiss from a big busty blonde

Page, would like something like Father and daughter. 'Son' is not the 'thing' for me...

I am not religious, but I love Christmas. That is, the heart of Christmas, treating people well, family, friends, food and drink, the giving and receiving of gifts, and of course the memories going back to childhood. So, Christmas can be merry without all the other stuff weighing it down. Anyway, it shares it's roots with other festivals and such that predate the modern Christian stuff. Plus common, you have all the classic specials like the old Rankin-Bass Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and the old Grinch that Stole Christmas. http://youtu.be/PgHCZWoMwm4 http://youtu.be/ZgP0aUKlmNw

dutch, it may not be rock and roll, it's a song about a father saying goodbye to his daughter who's getting married, and he's been exiled for killing the Wazir (oops spoiler) - beautiful song and what a voice Howard Keel Sands of Time from the broadway musical Kismet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqEG5JBbXEk
