I'm thinking that we'll see this happen by mid week. Really counting on my pledges to come through so I can use some as Christmas gifts.

Pledged!
I presume that the recording in the "west of England" refers to Realworld. Anyone Know?

Bittersweet was not recorded at Realworld - but somewhere near, means: also in the "west of Engalnd".

Actually, most of Bittersweet was recorded at Real World in less than a week. The new album is a different story - none of it was recorded at RW; David used some studios nearby.
