Fix the avatar issue, so we can change them. If space was the issue, limit how often they can be changed, or switch to a system that links your photo from a photo hosting site.
Bring back PM's, they are very helpful for Lunatic gatherings.
Those are the biggies for me. Common, they have a year, so lets load up their work schedule.

Maybe during the long break, have lots of contest and the like to keep fans engaged. Like Tina used to do. Maybe a lyric writing contest, trivia, fan photo's and video's, Where in the world is PG now (like Waldo), etc. A Witness topic for people to share or learn how to use technology to capture the wrongs?

How mamy still hate this new website? It's no improvement and so many "lunies" seemed to disappeaer after the so-called revamp. Put it back to how it used to be while PG's not watching. . .

I think there are definitely some good ideas here and hopefully, the web team will have some time to work on some. I especially like the idea of lunatics updating pg. even if not through video, perhaps there could be a section for lunatic full moon updates and we could write them out and post them here if we like. Whenever pg or anyone feels like reading, then it would be there.
I don't have any suggestions for anything new or old for that matter. I actually don't care about pm coming back at all because I believe they caused a lot more problems than good. This is just my thoughts on them because I have been here long enough to see how some people behave towards each other publicly here. Can you imagine what went on through the PMs?? I can, because there was a time when I received some not so nice ones.
Lunatic gatherings happen and there are many ways to make them work. PMs are really quite nice when it's all nice things being said. The feature is on Facebook and its okay, but still has the same problems. It's all up to how one person behaves towards another really. Nothing can change that except the individual.
I'm hoping to check in here now and then and hopefully will find it with some liveliness to it. It's nice to take a break from here and I've done it in the past a few times; it helps with refreshing my fanhood

. I'm not sure what changes might take place over the next year on the RW side or my own personal side, but I hope that some of you decide to stick around also.
Kind regards

Why the web team?
I think they should turn the Realworld Studios into a Realworld Love Camp with free ice cream, free ice cooled daiquiris, swiming pool, pool billiard, sunbeds and a Karaoke bar. And some more live music.
All at Peter Gabriel's expense. Natch.
This would have the positive side-effect of seeing PG to return to work earlier and record a new album real quick.

great news Adam,
I thought during a while, that the Facebook page would have turn this place into an obsolete one ..... hard to maintain technically speaking, and that sooner or later, this place would disappear.
That's a great news for those of us, who are not fan of the Facebook format.
And thanks for this new "app" underlining words when they are not written correctly. It's helpful !

Thanks for the input Adam! I am looking forward to the new things RW has in store for us here.
Like others, I come here to the moon for my PG-fix. It's the first fan web page and the ONLY fan web page that I have ever been to and although I am on facebook, that's not at all where I like to read my PG info. I have been here a long time, come and go every now and then, but overall, it's the place I like best.
Have a great year of interesting things and thanks for keeping this place together and for all the work you do for us lunies.
Kind regards,
Zenrider

Hmmm, just had a thought, if you are working on a new site, I guess you really aren't working on this one?

Could you, perhaps, make the font size a bit bigger in the new site? Some of us Lunies are getting to the point where we need bifocals (sad, but true), and the tiny fonts, although stylish, can be very hard to read.
Merci!

I used to like the old comps that Tina ran, can they come back ?
Also can you view the old wesite anywhere btw?
I would second PM back and also the tour photo page for this and any tour as some people posted great photos on there before.

Perhaps it is time for a new color as well. I grow weary of all the black.

Hey, had a thought. Since you brought up a new and another improved website. My favorite horse forum has an Aunt Agony forum. OK, you don't have to name it that, but the gist of it is, it's a forum that you have to be a signed in user to view. Granted there, you may find a lot of menopausal women that are equally crazy owners of exracehorses (not all, but, well an overwhelming number), but wouldn't it be a thought for a section for those that are only logged in to view. Not sure it would be, or do any good here, just a suggestion.
OK, more simply put a forum for those that people have to actually log in to view.
