Whups, made another thread pretty much saying the same thing. Haven't heard from Matt in ages, but maybe he'll pop in and let us know he's doing fine when he can?

Hi Zen-I've seen recent posts on Facebook from Dede, Pat, Deb and James. All have power and are fine. The last post I saw from Christina said her power was out and her town had lots of power lines down, trees down, and some fires in her town last night. The last posts I saw from Kira, and Karen said they were fine too. I think Greg and his family may not have power, but I'm not sure. The only Matt I know, lives on the West Coast, so I'm not sure if you're talking about a different Matt. People are posting updates on FB when they can. How are things in Brooklyn Jared? Things look rough on the news, for that area.

I'm talking the Matt that lives in New York. Met him (and others of course) at Radio City for the Scratch My Back tour. He used to pop in every now and again, but has been largely absent for quite some time. Super nice guy, even if he likes pizza that has to be folded to eat.

That's the same Matt I thought you might be talking about, but Matt lives in Oregon. He traveled to NY for the Scratch My Back tour/gathering. Yes, I remember hearing about the way he folds his pizza I just checked FB and everyone is fine. I think the only person without power is Mercy and her family. All of the others I mentioned earlier have power and are fine. Some trees down, etc...Raven checked in too, she didn't even lose power. The only ones I haven't seen recent updates from are MAK, and Moonstorm. Moonstorm said that all was fine last night though. My parents in New Hampshire have no power, but not much damage in the area, just some limbs down, and a few trees down in neighbor's yards. The FB group is way more active than the forum here...so you still might want to consider it.

I'm in Queens - my neighborhood is okay - I didn't lose power, but alot of relatives and friends have. No subway means no work. I'll have to settle in and listen to some PG!

Glad you're OK Jared, and have power. Even if you must take some time off from work. Hope you can afford a few days or so.

Yeah, I have a hard time turning down a day off, even if it's not paid. Had thought about working through my optional week, then thought, 'am I nuts?'
