dear lunatics, (aka, sanguine moon) any expectations for an update this month or has the "gap year" already started? in absence of a video, i am set to begin my "year of interesting things." see you on the flip-side. mozo

I think we'll get an update and he'll either let us know that the "gap year" will not include any updates or it will. My bet is it won't but I hope I'm wrong.

If he found time in his busy schedule to drop into Google HQ, perhaps he'll find a few minutes to upload a video from his phone onto YouTube saying 'hi and thanks for coming to his concerts. Having fun starting his year of interesting things, gotta go kids are asking if we're there yet.'

I agree with you Mozo. I think this was filmed a couple of weeks ago. He looks and sounds tired, like when he was just at the end of the tour, or had just returned to London from the tour. ~I hope he enjoys his year off! I'll be waiting for his return!

Thanks for the update. Hope you have a great year, but common a whole year without any 'hi, doing great, seeing lots of neat things, see you soon.' It may be a long year for your fans. Anyway, hope you let us in on all the interesting places you see after you get back.

We've been spoiled. Remember before the internet? How much did we actually hear from him/about him back in the day? I just hope he doesn't lose his fan base over the year, aside from the die hards of course.

Ha, I was already disappointed on Monday night, but there it was! Not too long, not too emotional, but there.. Did he talk about some fall-outs during the year? That would be cool or hot, whatever. For me , it will be a year of missing, but now we are already engaged since two years, this one will not break us, honey! Have a good and interesting time!

I'm with the man until the day I die.... or dementia sets in and I crave listening to Barry Manilow records as nurses empty my drool buckets. so ... whichever comes first. everyone enjoy the year off and get ready for an amazing sonic and theatrical adventure when he comes back.
