Maybe this has been discussed before, but there are some Rael casting suggestions here: www.dreammoviecast.com/casting-the-lead/lamb-lies-down-on-broadway-the-movie

I'd prefer an animated movie from The Lamb (by Hayao Miyazaki). "There was an attempt by Gabriel and The Exorcist director William Friedkin back in the 70?s to explore this but it fell flat." Errr... no there wasn't: PG was contacted by Friedkin before The Lamb, as part of a project which involved non-cinema artists working on movies. The project didn't amount to anything other than jeopardising Genesis' career. The director attached to The Lamb movie was Alejandro Jodorowsky. PS: one of the actors is right for the part IMO.

Alejandro Jodorowsky seems interesting! What actor is right? Any other suggestions?

How about Taylor Lautner as Rael? http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/37/taylorlautnerzo.jpg/

Not bad i have to say about Lautner. . . .but we have to see how he acts, is he well or not? Because it's not easy to interpret Rael, is not easy.

Here's a trailer from a non-Twilight movie of his, seems he can act and sing too in a light tenor voice Abduction - Trailer with Taylor Lautner http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEVkp5Je7m0 But can he play a Hispanic street kid? As long as he doesn't have Al Pacino's accent from Scarface "Say hello to my leetle lamb"

Yeah, not bad, but my question is : is he able to sing?? HEY!!! This is an annoucement from Lamb Movie Control: Ladies and gentlemen here is the new actor-singer that will interpret Rael of 21Century!!!! KELLY JONES. . , singer of Stereophonics. He is the right man : he has a perfect voice, physical characteristics and he is young. Please imagine he make up of Rael Look at their famous song "Maybe tomorrow" http://youtu.be/CaT86mk9gj8 Yes, maybe tomorrow, Kelly will be our Rael!

I like Caste's idea of turning it over to the animation magic of Hayao Miyazaki... Brilliant. Let the old guys choose who the voice overs need to be. Simon Collins sounds pretty amazing on Hackett's Revisited Project. Bu surely Peter could still handle most of the vocals ... NOW, NOW. NOW. NOW. NOW.

Glad you like my idea - but Simon WHO ?!?
Mister Miniver I 3 November 2012 at 8:14pm Posts: 160 (0 today) Status: offline
Geez, we gotta spoon feed this kid. Simon Collins, Phil's son, sings on the new project and acquits the material quite nicely, I think. And Hackett's playing -- je just gets better with age. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhtx_N7fjk8

OK, what's next? Lucifer's son playing the titular role in jesus christ Superstar?
Mister Miniver I 4 November 2012 at 3:40am Posts: 160 (0 today) Status: offline
Is Dali Lucifer's son? That is the biggest scoop since truth was writ on stone tablets. Good work, Caste.

What??? Do you reject my proposal of Kelly Jones?? Caste, you deserve Simon Collins!
