Oh my God...just learned that Cleve (Oz) died suddenly on Oct. 7--just days after he posted a lovely review of the show in Detroit. I don't know any details, but stumbled upon his obituary. He was a long-time member of FMC, and will be remembered as a true gentleman. RIP, Oz, once and forever an "old school" Genesis/Gabriel fan

A friend and fellow lunie alerted me to this, so I've come here to express my deepest empathy for the family of Oz. He truly was a great guy and loyal fan. I had the pleasure of meeting him in London during the Growing Up Tour and he used to be active here on the moon during that time.
Oz was a nice man, very caring and giving (I know this from spending time with him in London that time). Very, very sad news and definitely makes all of the other stuff just that -- stuff!
May you RIP, Oz. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.
Thank you, Anne, for posting this here.

I don't come here much any more but I heard about this sad news and wanted to pay my repect.
Like Pat, I met Oz for the first time in London during the Growing Up tour. He was a very nice guy. He offered me a ticket to go see Steve Hackett a few years ago but I couldn't go. His wife just passed away a couple years ago too.
My thoughts are with the family and friends.

I too was fortunate to meet the man during the Wembley Gathering, and he was part of the craziness the following December seeing TMB in Philly.
So sad. His family is in my thoughts.

I don't know what to say. I am shocked, Oz seemed eternal, so this has me floored. I had hoped to meet Oz at a concert eventually, but life is a fickle and fleeting thing.
Rest in Peace Oz.
OK, a part of me is hoping this is somehow a terrible mistake and he will show up and set us straight.

This is shocking and incredibly sad news. I had the honor of talking to OZ two or three times on this website and he was very nice in his responses.
Rest Peaceful OZ.
