Mozo, I recall your thread and most of what you wrote. No one here is badgering anyone about anything, so your statement is confusing. The fact that someone is writing about it again and mistakenly it appeared multiple times is what this discussion was about. I agree that it's disappointing to be told one thing and then not have it followed through -- it's happened to me on other occasions, not here. Your predictions came true, I suppose and for that I'm also sorry (because it means your criticisms and disappointments happened. ) That is upsetting to know. Is there anything that can be done about it? I'm just asking, not being sarcastic or anything. For the record, I don't write reviews, nor do I read them. Never have really, I know it's probably not too wise, but I know I'm gonna buy something anyway to have my own personal opinion, so that's always what I've done. For other artists I might read a review, but overall I've always gone with my gut. Please refrain from calling me names simply because I do this. Each individual is entitled to his/her opinion and mindset and I'm not an inferior person because of mine. Thanks. Meanwhile, perhaps there will be some answers regarding the pkg and fan participation now that the tour is over. One can hope I suppose. Good luck to all

creating multiple threads by accident is quite common. i've done it myself at least twice. however, i suspect this one targeted due to its content. pat, you even doubted whether it was an accident (e.g., "I do think it is just a glitch, but one can never tell these days"). being the box set is just being released, it is a very relevant topic even if the pre-order details were discussed ad naaseum. i've already advised what PG and his management can do to address the blunders already made, and prevent ones in the future. for example, i suggested PG management review the submissions and post an "official" acknowledgement of notable entries. the tech team can go out of its way in advertising the box set (e.g., video walk through, enhanced photos, adding layers to this site, handing me a nice cardboard ad as i excited the united center, etc.), but cannot seem to muster an effort to "officially" acknowledge the sincere and heartfelt contributions of fans. i applauded mr. gabriel for his personal response to the "open letter." i thought it was a good start at repairing any damages regarding his relationship with fans. i even dropped my request for an explanation of his "fuck 'em" comment. however, mr. gabriel skipped yet another full moon update leaving many questions unanswered. for example, what news regarding his recent announcement of touring south america in march made just a few moons ago? are we now supposed to interpret that he really meant 2014 at the earliest? i am sure our european lunatics will be very interested in how he honors his commitments. BTW, the hunter's moon will soon be here later this month. finally, my first real post to this forum was a criticism of PG's increasing use of "click tracks" during his live performance. i thank those who participated in an intelligent discussion of the topic (T-Dogg, 8th Planet, Nechesh, et al.). moreover, it was fellow lunatics that welcomed me that made me want to stay. thank you MAK in the USA, Cimber, Duddy, Little Rainbow, et. al. to pay it forward (or backwards), i wish to welcome Thomas020 to the forums. a blast from the past: http://www.earthimmigrant.net/minipeter/ the adventures of min-peter

Mozo -- I guess I still don't understand what you meant by badgering someone -- with regards to the multiple posts, I did acknowledge that right away and it was part of the initial discussion, but then the discussion turned to people being disappointed with the SO package -- which I know you had written about also. Anyway, I'm not currently in a good place nor of a mindset to try and work out what everyone is writing about -- I really just like to come here, read the topic, add to it if I can, but I'm not always sure that what I write meets with everyone's approval -- it's okay for anyone of us to criticize pg, but it's equally okay for anyone of us to compliment him (I think, anyway). I'm sorry if I don't address all of what you wrote above. I will look at it another time, if you don't mind. I enjoy your writings and comments, but it's been a long day and I've other things to do tonight. I'm glad Thomas020 is here also and hope he stays.

webmaster of genesis-news.com: "Just for your information: Peter Gabriel's So25 is out in Germany today and some other countries. Besides the fact that there were no DVDs in our review copy (!), you cannot download anything (So 24bit, extra tracks, Athens 720p). Now, that's a really "professionally managed" package ... :/ Let's hope that'll be fixed soon."

Regarding the statement above from the webmaster of genesis-news.com -- what's it mean? -- the promotional copies were fucked up? packaged incorrectly? -- that's really a shame, if that's the case. Seems as if there's nothing that is being done correctly by PG and/or all of the others involved in making these things happen -- shame, really.
