Wow!! To think of all that I'd love to do . . . yeah, it would definitely take at least one year if I did it right, me thinks! Darcy, the idea of handling those birds, with such a lovely view -- sounds great! And James, you're absolutely correct -- for me, it's just like cuddling with wolves. I had hoped to get back to Wolf Park two years ago when Dharma (the wolf I currently sponsor) was just a pup -- I wanted to meet her as a pup. Well, it's two years later and Dharma is now a momma of 6 pups (born on the full moon on April 6, 2012). So, there is a part of me that really wants to visit Wolf Park this fall to meet the pups . . . hhmm, perhaps I can "squeeze" it in while I'm seeing my PG shows. A "year of interesting things" sounds like such a wonderful thing to do and I think anyone can do it -- perhaps not on the same level as PG, but we can all plan our lives to include "interesting things" -- not everything has to be costly, nor does it have to involve long-distance travel to exotic places. The fact that PG can do it on his level is wonderful and I'm especially happy for him and his family to be able to do such a thing. A few years ago, when I was about to turn 50 years old, I wanted to celebrate my birthday all year long -- I just wanted to enjoy myself -- the entire year. While I was thinking about it and how I would approach it, President Clinton basically did the same thing with his birthday -- and he did something very similar to what PG is proposing to do -- he spent the year traveling, etc., enjoying himself. I was a bit pissed that Clinton stole my idea -- and even more pissed that he could afford to fulfill his dream while I could only "dream" about it. However, I moved to Lancaster in 2008 -- made settlement on this house on March 31, 2008 -- two days before my 50th year was up! So, I did end up having a full entire year of fun, ending with moving to my new home sweet home Ever since then, I now celebrate my birthday all month long . . . and I suggest everyone else should do the same -- it's loads of fun to be able to get together with folks throughout the month and not have to worry about only celebrating for one day. Anyway, I would love to be in a position to work with doctors without borders for some time. When I was a young girl in school and we would have "career day" when various professionals came to speak with us and we would just go to the people we wanted to learn from, I always went to the missionaries -- I wished I could have done some sort of missionary work right out of school, but it didn't happen. At this point in life, I could not afford to be without work long enough to travel and work in a doctors without borders situation, but it really is something I would like to do. Kind regards to all . . . keep on dreaming

we'll do ! and to my own opinion Pat some fullfilled dreams and the ability to fullfill them can eventually let you with a strange feeling of ...... "standardization" I personnaly cherish those that made me run ahead, because they are not yet fulfilled...... A year of interesting things .... can happen suddenly as is it the case right now for me. Listening to a friend advice (thanks to her, she will recognize herself here) telling me I should try to make some of my poems published, and even if deciding it was not the way I wished to share them, I finaly sent some to people that had inspired them. Among them maybe one of the women I do admire the most nowaday. A very long one, meaningful for her in the way it used many ideas she had been writing on. Against all odds, I received a quick answer that was more than an answer. A real recognition, as a poet, warmingly expressed. I was of course deeply touched by the fact, but nearly instantaneously my thoughs turned towards a project that has been arising during the summer. I was asked if eventually I was interested in co- animating a writing group in the women jail here in my city. It's a very incredible but wonderful project and among all those running in my head for the coming year, this letter came as a call to give it priority among all others. I really do hope that this project will take shape a way or the other. It will be a great year fulfilment.

Wow! This is the strangest coincidence -- this thread being here today when I came to the page. I say it's a coincidence because I was just speaking (on this past Monday) with a fellow nurse who actually goes to Africa every year or so to work with her church and helps with basic things. We chatted for awhile about it because, again, this is still one of those things I'd love to be able to do -- to travel somewhere, help out in whatever way I could, for a short period of time. I think it would be so very rewarding. I remember one my nursing instructors did the same thing and he would share his stories with me. He always told me how humbling an experience it was actually -- to be treated like gold when simply providing very, very basic healthcare -- bandaids, injections, health check-ups, etc., to people who are such need of it. His was also through his church -- it was something they do as part of their practice. Well, perhaps one of these days I'll do it. We never know what's around the corner for us, do we? LR -- I can relate to you and your drive for new projects. I'm the same way. I always am planning something or other and laugh to think that I have enough to keep me busy for quite awhile, no need to keep planning One of my current dreams is to actually write down my experiences as a Genesis/PG fan -- from the first show to the most recent ones and all that transpired in between. I wouldn't mind re-living it as I write it, that's for sure! Kind regards and good dreams to all,

Often writing work never starts cause we feel obliged to devote to it a long period of time, and a lot of energy in a short period of time, while in fact the good point of view according to me would be : one page a day ....... little by little but with some kind of stubborness on the long term.....

Not sure. I would imagine if PG is not going to do any updates for the year the RW team would at least be putting something out on the website as they have many artists to promote. But again your guess is as good as mine.

I would think he would still do the full moon updates. A great way for him to share his travel adventures ("interesting things") with all of us.
