Hi AreBor -- I did enjoy the exchange of that particular Neil Young song because it is one of my favorites of his and I was happy to be able to contribute the few lines that I did -- as they are my favorite lines of the song

I just saw this quote on facebook, posted by a very dear friend of mine -- who doesn't usually post these sorts of things, so not quite sure why she posted it. Anyway, I'm going to place it here for now:
“If we could read the secret history of our enemies we would find within each person’s life a sorrow and a suffering enough to disarm all hostility.”
–Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
For Nemesis -- I'm not really all that good with lyrics, songs, etc., so I'm not able to add to your most recent line -- sorry, but I'm not even sure where the line is from.
For AreBor -- Yeah, despite the crazy times we might get ourselves into here, we are usually able to bounce back and just have our everyday, run-of-the-mill forum filled with lunatics

You go strolling through the crowd like Peter Lorre
Contemplating a crime
She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running
Like a watercolor in the rain
Don't bother asking for explanations
She'll just tell you that she came
Here's a few more lines - I'm sure someone will get it:

ARTIST: Al Stewart
TITLE: Year of the Cat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-GMX2m8TUY&feature=related
On a morning from a Bogart movie
In a country where they turn back time
You go strolling through the crowd like Peter Lorre
Contemplating a crime
She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running
Like a watercolor in the rain
Don't bother asking for explanations
She'll just tell you that she came
In the year of the cat
/ Cmaj7 D Em - / / / Am7 - D7 - / :
She doesn't give you time for questions
As she locks up your arm in hers
And you follow 'till your sense of which direction
Completely disappears
By the blue tiled walls near the market stalls
There's a hidden door she leads you to
These days, she says, I feel my life
Just like a river running through
The year of the cat
Well, she looks at you so coolly
And her eyes shine like the moon in the sea
She comes in incense and patchouli
So you take her, to find what's waiting inside
The year of the cat
/ B - C - / G - D - / B - C - / G - F C D - / Cmaj7 D Em - / /
Well morning comes and you're still with her
And the bus and the tourists are gone
And you've thrown away your choice and lost your ticket
So you have to stay on
But the drumbeat strains of the night remain
In the rhythm of the new-born day
You know sometime you're bound to leave her
But for now you're going to stay
In the year of the cat

Michael: You have to answer for Santino, Carlo. You fingered Sonny for the Barzini people.
Carlo Rizzi: Mike, you got it all wrong.
Michael: Ah, that little farce you played with my sister. You think that would fool a Corleone?
Carlo Rizzi: Mike, I'm innocent. I swear on the kids.
Michael: Sit down.
Carlo Rizzi: Please don't do this to me, Mike. Please don't.
Michael: Barzini is dead. So is Phillip Tattaglia. Moe Greene. Stracci. Cuneo. Today I settled all family business so don't tell me that you're innocent. Admit what you did.
[Carlo starts sobbing]
Michael: Get him a drink. Don't be afraid, Carlo. Come on, you think I'd make my sister a widow? I'm Godfather to your son.
[Carlo get handed a drink]
Michael: Go ahead. Drink. Drink. No, you're out of the family business, that's your punishment.
You're finished. I'm putting you on a plane to Vegas. Tom?
[Tom hands Michael an airplane ticket]

You didn't know Al Stewart's Year of the Cat!!??? What, are you 12? lol
Hey, who shot the deputy??? Did the sheriff shoot the deputy to frame the singer?
Anyway - guess this song:
It's a sleepless night, She's callin' your name
It's a lonely ride, I know how you want her
Again and Again, you're chasin' a dream yeah
But Johnny my friend, she's not what she seems
Bob Marley's Redemption Song
Old pirates yes they rob I
Sold I to the merchant ships
Minutes after they took I from the
Bottom less pit
But my hand was made strong
By the hand of the almighty
We forward in this generation triumphantly
All I ever had is songs of freedom
Won't you help to sing these songs of freedom
Cause all I ever had redemption songs, redemption songs
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds
Have no fear for atomic energy
Cause none of them can stop the time
How long shall they kill our prophets
While we stand aside and look
Some say it's just a part of it
We've got to fulfill the book
Won't you help to sing, these songs of freedom
Cause all I ever had, redemption songs, redemption songs, redemption songs
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds
Have no fear for atomic energy
Cause none of them can stop the time
How long shall they kill our prophets
While we stand aside and look
Yes some say it's just part of it
We've got to fulfill the book
Won't you help to sing, these songs of freedom
Cause all I ever had, redemption songs
All I ever had, redemption songs
These songs of freedom, songs of freedom
May I speak.

I found out that every Eric Bazilian song (lead singer The Hooters) I posted at Facebook ended up at his Facebook page - cause somehow I am on his Friends list, curses Steve Mountain, so I am extremely embarrassed sigh, anywho....
"El Salvador" Christy Moore
Verse 1
Am G
A girl cries in the early morning
Em Am
Woken by the sound of a gun
Am G
She knows somewhere somebodys dying
Em F
Beneath the rising sun
C G
Outside the window of her cabania
Am Em
The shadows are full of her fears
C G
She knows her lover is out there somewhere
Am Em
He's been on the run for a year
CHORUS
F G Am
Oh,the soul of El salvador
Verse 2
Bells ring out on the chapel steeple
A priest prepares to say mass
The sad congregation come tired and hungry
To pray that the troubles will pass
Meanwhile the sun rises over the dusty streets
Where his body was found
Flies and mosquitoes are drinking from pools of blood
Where the crowd gathers round.
CHORUS
out on the ranch the rich mans preparing
to go for his morning ride
they've saddled his horse out in the corral
he walks out full of pride
he looks like a cowboy from one of those pictures
a president made in the past
peasants in rags, they stand back for they know
that enrico gallops fast
Chorus
Over the soul of El Salvador.
okay figure this one out:
There's a devil waiting outside your door
(How much longer?)
There's a devil waiting outside your door
(How much longer?)
And he's bucking, and braying, and pawing at the floor
(How much longer?)
And he's howling with pain, crawling up the walls
(How much longer?)
