For AreBor -- Some of your words are somewhat overly critical of any one person or another (myself included) and as I first wrote to you when I saw your post to me, I believe it had to do with a lost in translation sort of thing, so I was not quite sure how to take you, but I thought we were past that.
I simply do not believe that you are new here, nor do I even think for one minute that you are Cyn; I don't honestly care who you are and I welcomed you here just as I have done with any other lunies.
I had read that you were "drawn" into here and I'm sure it is not meant to be just one single person and I know that many others have been drawn here as well and sadly, the heated conversations, etc., are not a true representation of what can usually take place here. So, I hope you stay around long enough to see that there are many decent lunies here who for the most part, just want to come and share thoughts, etc.,
Please note, your reference to having a low iq versus racism and whether it is my "bag" -- well, you can have a low iq and you can be purple for all I care, but please do not play so dumb that you would offend me with a remark that I might be prejudiced against you. You're not so dumb as to know how to insult people are you???
Anyway, no use even trying to welcome you AreBor, as I have done before. You have your mind set and made up -- "prejudiced" about who I am, so keep your opinion, I have neither the time nor energy nor care to convince you otherwise.
Enjoy yourself here on the moon.

Now, back to words of wisdom . . .
Just saw this on facebook and it seemed most appropriate for me today:
"Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, just piss on it and walk away."
May I speak.

Well Pat I think you have took my comment the wrong way. The IQ thing was not directed at you at all, and if think that is not the case, well I can not have any control over that. So this may this might but some light on it, they were in relation to the IQ and racism thread, and were if fact meant to be humour, as for any insults that you or any other user may think I have made, well that was not intended and as I wrote in another thread my humble apologies for any offence caused. If you go to page 6 or 7 of the words they fall from your sky thread that is the first and last time I was here. I put two poems up, one was about a monk boy taken by the chinese and the other about me and a tree If I really wanted to insult any one it would not be so lame, because I think if you are going to do that you might as well go the whole hog.
May I speak.

Just to confirm the posts I made are on page 11 of words they fall from your sky, and they are the only other posts I have made on this site. I also agree with the clique none starter thing, but I suppose some would say there is safety in numbers. That is only an opinion and is not meant to offend.

That is ok Pat, and really I would not want to cause any offence to any one here unless they give me cause to. As for the prejudice issue I have been on the receiving end of it myself so would not even dream of being that way. Take care.

Thanks, AreBor! I hear ya on the prejudiced thing -- it's an ugly thing and it would be lovely if it didn't exist.
Okay, here's another quote I saw on facebook today and I thought it was a bit humorous . . .
"My dog winks at me sometimes . . . and I always wink back, in case it's some kind of code."

Kind regards to all,

We are each burdened with prejudice; against the poor or the rich, the smart or the slow, the gaunt or the obese. It is natural to develop prejudices. It is noble to rise above them. ~Author Unknown
Preconceived notions are the locks on the door to wisdom. ~Merry Browne
The test of courage comes when we are in the minority. The test of tolerance comes when we are in the majority. ~Ralph W. Sockman
What is tolerance? It is the consequence of humanity. We are all formed of frailty and error; let us pardon reciprocally each other's folly - that is the first law of nature. ~Voltaire
Judge me all you want, just keep the verdict to yourself. ~From a Winston advertisement
Morality is simply the attitude we adopt towards people whom we personally dislike. ~Oscar Wilde

Somewhere there's music
How faint the tune
Somewhere there's heaven
How high the moon
There is no moon above
Then love is far away too
Till it comes true
That you love me as I love you

Very, very sweet, Jen -- and Connie, the creator of the post. Thanks for bringing it to our attention -- Sentiments such as THESE are what the forums should be filled with

-- I'm gonna do my best to remember that and adhere to that.
I'm in countdown mode now for my trip -- of course, it would help if I spent some time preparing and packing -- I'm usually all over it by now, but haven't yet started. Today will be the day, right after I have breakfast with a friend.
