Lol Kira! Do you mean the cow specifically? Do you sniff cows often?

Moon- the other house we were living in was near a dairy. It was an awful place to decide to put a subdivision. There is a builder here that buys cheap land and builds lots of cheap cardboard houses on it. I do think they are good starter homes for people who could otherwise not afford a house, however. The landlord picked it up for pennies as a foreclosure.
The land they bought is a bit outside of town. The flies were ridiculous (because of the dairy), and the long drive was worse. I spent all of my time last spring driving my kids to and from school, (not to mention the money on gas), because I wanted to keep them in they're schools until we found something else.
This new house is close to they're schools and on the other side of town, and it smells lovely here. There are mature trees and squirrels lots of birds and crickets. It took me a year to find it. The craziest thing is I had a dream a few years ago, and this house was in it.

And it's right next to the subdivision I grew up in.
