I say welcome back, too, Soil!

Thanks, Jen. I can't complain too much, though. The rest of the work is good and this is a new dental office here called Half Price Dental, And the bill in my opinion was less than half of what some of the dentists charge around here, and I have no insurance. He was quite embarrassed and apologetic. It does feel weird, though.
How are things going with you?

Went to the lake and got a sunburn. Not too bad, luckily. Had fun anyway.

Hi Moonie!

I went to that concert when it was here several years ago- Todd Rundgren was with him, awsome show.
Todd Rundgren was my other brother's favorite artist when I was a kid. I think I heard everything he ever recorded.

Hi lunatics
I hope all is fine with everybody! You American loonies surely are looking forward to seeing PG on his Back to Front tour, I confess: I am jealous!! Or maybe not: the American tour will be a test - for the following European tour

My family and I are looking forward to be going to Documenta 13 in Kassel, the world biggest exhibition of modern art. I went to the last two Documentas, five and ten years ago, they were so impressing! Ai Weiwei was part of Documenta 12, five years ago - I remember one installation of him was swept down by a heavy thunderstorm and he decided not to rebuild it. Here is a link

My 18 year old son had our house filled with music from a band called "Lunatica" - I thought, I'd share that with you

They are a band from Switzerland, kind of metal music. Here is a song of them

Have a nice weekend all!

Hello Biggie
The fires aren't near me but I have a nephew who lives near Colorado Springs (where a lot of the fires are) he hasn't gotten the evacuation notice yet so hopefully it won't affect him.
We are supposed to get some rain on the 4th and for the next few days after hopefully that will go a long way in putting those fires out.
Ela
How wonderful, sounds like a lovely place to be for the 4th, have a wonderful time.
On a side note am I the only one who thinks that Excellent Bird may have died? We sure have been neglectful in feeding him.

Hello everyone, do they still have grail coffee here?
It has been busy days lately, as the time my kids return gets closer, I'm having the appartment painted , and preparing our former computer room as a bedroom for Azul.
Ellee, Azul went to Documenta !! Kassel is near from where she lived, Now she is on a trip with her german Family to Strassbourgh and Paris, and then, Back home!! Lu still has some more time, It seems he'll be visiting Denmark, Spain, and finally he'll go to Italy, where he'll meet the Italian girl we are still hosting at home. I'll post your link at his wall, as he is in Switzerland , maybe he knows the band-

I'm glad you're OK Jen.

I hope your nephew doesn't have to evacuate.
Found out this morning my oldest daughter has walking pneumonia. She's on antibiotics now, but she is wearing herself out working at Subway and trying to support this dork she's dating who has only worked for a few weeks in over a year. He got fired and is too busy playing video games to find a job. I wish she'd just move in here and let his grandparents babysit him. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
On a lighter note, we will be having a Bbq in the parking lot of Mr. Big's work, and setting off our fireworks there. His work is a block away from the park where they set off the city fireworks display. We have great seats and can wait there for the traffic to die down. We've done it for several years.

What's everyone going to be doing?

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter, I've had walking pneumonia nad regular pneumonia and neither is fun. As for the guy unfortunately that's something she's going to have to decide for herself.
Try not to worry too much and enjoy your BBQ, sounds like fun.
We aren't doing anything special,it's supposed to rain on the 4th and I'm fine with that-we need it

Happy fourth of July to those who celebrate it.
Not a whole lot going on in my life lately, very relaxin and refreshing actually. Yesterday I rearranged my flat, especially the living and dining room. The way I rearranged the furniture really opens the place up, which is very pleasing to me.
Otis, the battle buddy puppy is day and happy. I've had to put him on a diet as he could easily be mistaken for a baby deal, lol. Actually I put both of us in a
as I had put on unwanted pounds since my surgery back in May.

Hey Kids!

It's gonna be 104 today and in the 100's for about a week. Luckily it's been cooling off at night.
