I didn't know, Moonstorm. That's very sad.
Each time I watch Excalibur, I'm moved by the acting. The love of Arthur for Guenivere, even ten year later, when he finds her back in the church, where you can feel he STILL loves her, but he must go. . . For his last battle. . .
The way Lancelot tries his hardest to resist the love he feels for Guenivere. And his anguish about her when he asks Arthur if Guenivere is queen again. . .
And Guenivere desperate tries to stay faithfull to her husband and king.
Merlin is one great character in this production, nothings equals Nicol Williamson in this part. Ellen Mirren is great too.

Piperbone Jones: RW's first incarnation on the web was called Radio Real World with a white background and huge pictures. I think it went up about 1995. This changed in 1997 or so smaller photos, white background, back and orange print. They tried a PG Forum (just one section) in 1998 but by 1999 or 2000 it was gone due to general assholery, but the World Music forum continued on. In 1998, they tried to live stream RW's 10 anniversary party which really sucked if you didn;t have a MAC.
That's all I remember, offhand.

yes Ste.
the who cast is brilliant
and it's Helen Mirren.
I have the VHS tape, so you know I've had it forever. and have seen it about 3 dozen times.
I too am going to go outside and enjoy this lovely evening. There's about 1 1/2 hrs daylight left and it was a beautiful day as well. Swimming all day and a great lunch at my friends pool.
Enjoy.

On the floor there's a long wooden table
On the table there's an open book
On the page there's a detailed drawing
and on the drawing is the name I took
