I'm going to go ahead and post this even though it's a page or so early. Tradition has it that every 100 pages we begin a fresh cycle of this thread. Since this is the first time in a long time I have been here to host, I thought it might be my turn to set our theme again. For my choice, I will revisit the ORIGINAL feel of the place. It makes me proud that the thread I started, all those years ago is still alive and still helping bring people together. My thanks to all of you who helped keep it going all this time!! This thread originated on the first PG forum. I think that was running for almost 2 years before it crashed, leaving all those old memories in the void of cyber-space. Back in those days this forum did not have a messenger, so this thread was meant as more of a "live chat" and to discuss things off topic or not relevent to the posts that were running at the time. I remember Eddie( old long-lost lunatic) trying to describe it as " a junk drawer" for things other than PG commentary. That was really quite accurate! It didn't take long for people to become friends, and friends like to have a good time, so here we are once again. EVERYONE IS WELCOME HERE! This is an OPEN THREAD. If you ever visited and made a post, only seeming to be ignored please remember, sometimes things move so fast here that posts can be missed. So don't get discouraged if you don't get an immediate reply. Just keep on coming back. There's almost always someone out there who would like to chat. I wonder if anyone has a screen shot of what the PG page first looked like. For the life of me, I can't remember. Was it a picture of RW Studios, perhaps? I do remember a time about 12-18 months before UP came out, I think Tony posted some audio snippets of the demos of their work on the new album. I also recall him saying something along the lines that Peter had around 100 or so demos and they were in the process of going through the ideas that would best fit for the new album which became UP. So that leaves about 88 or so ideas we've yet to hear though Curtains is probably one of those BYUBYD and maybe some of the things that came out on OVO. Does anyone have info on the piece Peter referred to around the SO period - called "Sagrada," about Gaudi's masterful architecture. . .

A new round table is always welcome after a full cycle. Thanks for this thread and the idea itself, Dana! It has really touched all of us here! Wayback Machine has the forums looking like this in 2002, but I'm not sure if it's accurate or not.

I'd like to thank, reading you all, the ones who were keeping trace of the table when it was in peril, the ones like Mr Clueless, Shockie, Matt, Elliotte and of course, the one who has this great fighting fire in her, my sister Meme. I'm sure I forget some, and I don't do it on purpose. We were so far gone. And the ones I didn't know some times ago, Moonstorm, Big Ideas, Mermaid, and so on (I'm terrible on names, so on nicknames, it's even worse. . . Again I forget certainly some people. . .) I'm very happy to share things with Jen on that place, things were not easy between us, in the beginning, but. . . as human beings still growing up, we learnt to get along. Thanks Jen. This place and my all time favorite movie (Boorman's Excalibur)are lighthouses to me. I'd like to drink to you all.

Thanks MAK ^^ Thanks Moonstorm. I think many people here love that movie. It is SO UNDERRATED! And the worst part is coming: I read it is going to be remade. . . John Boorman's got something like one hour of the movie unrealeased, the big houses thought it would be too long a movie. I'd love him to make a special dvd with a director's cut, but did he keep the works he filmed? Nigel Terri is the best King Arthur I ever saw.
