No, more like a day ago. |D
Trivia!
I don't react very well when familiar songs have different lyrics. IE "I'll be anything you need" is instead "I'll be anything you want". Did not react very well to that at all.

Ezri said that to someone herself, you'd be on her like stink on a warthog.
That said, Ezri, now you're out-of-line. Way out-of-line with two posts to insult someone.
No, deFacto, Darcy is - constantly picking and harassing, and bumping up that hateful thread, yet no one calls her on it
If Darcy can be post, constantly criticizing I am allowed to reply to her put downs
why she's allowed to be abusive and mean and I can't reply, well Defacto, that is out of line
I have been here 10 years - think about that girlie

Wow, attacking a teenager now Ezri? Have you not one ounce of dignity? Bumping that hateful thread huh? It is only hateful to you because we are not putting up with your crap anymore and you do not like it. And it is not just me bumping it or posting on it is it? Not only do we have at least 20 other members voicing how they feel about your harrassment, YOU are posting on it as well.
And for someone who has been here for ten years, as you think you need to remind us, you should have grown up by now don'tcha think?
Pick on a kid again, keep it up and see what happens "GIRLIE".

Can't keep these thread straight
Anywho, this weekend is Bathtub Weekend with the race this Sunday
The winner of the race gets the Golden Plug from The Royal Order of the Golden Plug
One bathtub weekend I met Tony Bennett, who was performing in town - normally though avoid the downtown area like the plague - and let the thousands of tourist take over
Downtown becomes hub of activity for the popular annual bathtub festivities

It's about as fun as it can get in Nanaimo.
The 45th annual Nanaimo Marine Festival was launched on Thursday with the ceremonial cutting of the official cake at Northridge Quality Foods.
The excitement surrounding the event will build through the weekend, with fun events downtown, at Maffeo-Sutton Park and elsewhere on the waterfront, and of course Departure Bay on Sunday, where crowds will gather to see who will be the first tubber to ring the bell, becoming the 2011 Great International World Championship Bathtub Race winner.
Virtually every public venue will become a festival entertainment point through Sunday, including some, such as Commercial Street, not usually a place for gatherings.
There will be booths, displays and an eye-catching fireworks display.
There is so much to do there isn't room to list it all here, but anyone wanting to share in the fun would be well advised to get themselves downtown.
Roads into the city core will be closed to traffic temporarily Saturday morning for the Sail Past On Wheels parade.
The parade starts at 10: 30 a.m. in the Old City Quarter. From there it will follow Fitzwilliam and Bastion streets, to Front Street.
Maffeo-Sutton Park becomes a centre of activity during the festival.
"One of the things that will be very interesting will be the helicopter demonstration," said Bill McGuire, Loyal Nanaimo Bathtub Society commodore.

You really should apolgise to DeFacto Ezri. Show just one second of understanding and maturity by accepting what you said to her was wrong. Do it via PM if you want, we don't need to see the apology, but she should. Even by your standards, you crossed a line.

This is fun! I'll play!

-I can wiggle my ears.
-I'm an odd combination of extrovert & introvert. I love people and am a very social creature, but . . . I joined the forums right before the NB concerts and EVEN THOUGH I read about the Lunie meet-ups, and was in the Pit for two shows, I did NOT try to meet anyone in person. Just. Too. Shy.
-NB Conductor Ben Foster was in the VIP area before the Saratoga show AND during Intermission (he must have RUN down there!). I recognized him, but did not even think of approaching him! (See second trivia bit.

Oh, and DeFacto, if you ever want to start a thread about female vocalists, I'm so there! The musical instrument I love most is the voice, and my preferred range is soprano. My musical taste tends very strongly to female vocalists - Bjork, Kate Bush, Laurie Anderson, Patty Griffin, Jane Siberry, Jill Sobule.

I don't think I've had much of a female influence in my life outside of my mother and Suzanne Vega's music, not including male-female duets like Peter Gabriel with Kate Bush or Elton John with Kiki Dee(I only know that name because my iPod decided that one duet song had to be separated from the rest of the album in 'Artists').
So I think the only female vocalist I could really geek about is Suzanne Vega. XD 99.9% of my music is by guys, always has been. It probably comes from what I grew up with, and another factor probably is that the majority of the female vocalists around when I was growing up and definitely now were and are shallow, hollow, and not my style. I should probably try looking into finding other artists like Ms. Vega who are more artistic than just 'boysboysboys' and do real poetry with their music(I quite enjoy Last Year's Troubles)
I avoid modern hit stations that play the same ten "popular" songs over and over because 9/10 I'll loathe what's being played. Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears. . .I just don't ENJOY any of them. I can tolerate them on good days if I have to(well, not so much Swift since one day I decided that sitting out in the 90+ degree heat would be better than listening to her Romeo&Juliet farce), but I'm not inspired to go out and buy their CDs(and I just hate Kesha music. And I refuse to spell her name like a retard)

anyone start laying down the law on me, I am in my right to reply -
so stop with the condemnations - it is getting embarrassing to read you people - still in high school are ya?
You think you have the right to put down one person - then I have the right to return the favour - only I don't want to
If you can't say anything good, then don't say anything and stick to subjects about Peter Gabriel, music and the odd off/topic thread
this personal attacks are amazing to read - you just can't stop
well, here's a nickel - give it a try
stop all personal attacks against other lunies
I am not going to reply to your little digs
