about 11 years ago, coming home late at night the car in front of me hit two cats on the road and took off.
I stopped and found one already dead and the other dazed and confused (as big mentioned going in circles) and bobbing it's head tremendously ~
I couldnt figure what I should do, at that next moment another car pulls up, it was an off duty police officer. He asked what was going on, and I told him, he said 'Do you want me to shoot it?'
NO! I replied.
I took it home kept it in the bathtub, as I was unprepared for anything else & had two curious cats at home already, shut the bathroom door and went to sleep, next morning I called a local Humane society, she came and picked it up, I called about him a few times and went to see him once, then he was adopted out.
I named him Lucky.

I have the flu, feel like crap and don't give a damn anymore
appreciate the odd kind word here - words like gold
In my life, in person I've seen a King - King Hussein of Jordan came to the huge airshow we have yearly in Abbotsford, B.C. I only stood a couple of feet from King Hussein and his lovely wife Alyiah
A few years later, I was with my Palestinian boyfriend, Wasfi, and his PLO friends - at a night town horse race, one of his friends was speaking Arabic in extreme excitement - I could only make out the name Hussein - (this was in '77) I figure that King Hussein had been assassinated - but when I asked they said his wife Queen Alyiah had been killed that night in a helicopter crash - I had cold chills and couldn't stop shaking.
Later that night Wasfi beat me so bad, I lost a lot of blood and nearly died - as soon as I was able I was on a bus, a 5 day bus trip across Canada, to home on the West Coast - at every greasy spoon and diner I played Steve Miller's hit at the time on jute boxes - "Fly like an eagle to the sea, fly like an eagle let my spirit carry me"
I ended up here in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, where I did some basic training when I was in the army
There are only 5 Deffein-bunkers in all of Canada - build in the early 60's in case the bomb was dropped a place for VIP's and politicians to hide out in - one is here at the army camp, I think it goes down 6 stories underground - when I was in the army, we'd have lunch in the bunker
I seen Queen Elzabeth who came to my town - Prince Charles and Diana - Alysia was 6 yrs. when she gave Diana flowers - when I was a teen met PM Trudeau at our airshow, got his autograph, when I helped my mum move from Abbotsford, I left the framed sign pictures behind.
Spent 18 months in Hell er I mean Windsor, Ontario
Only went back to visit my dad 5 times in L.A. in 35 years, and the last time was for his funeral.
Peter at 61 still have both his parents - good genes there - I'm 3 years younger and I don't have either parent alive - my dad died in 1989 and my mum in 1998
I am a fairly nice person, unless my back is against the wall and I'm defensive - since I was young I bring out an extremely negative emotion from emotionally damage people - I must have been very very bad in another life.
Seeing what happens at such a small portion of humanity as this forum one can understand why there are wars in the world.
did you know negativity attracts more negativity till it just feeds on itself, but continues to grow and attract more and more negativity - positive thinking and good vibes is a minority here - it's a shame
don't feel like fixing typo's and spelling or grammer errors

Marilyne, I guess it could be considered like the shrugging of ones shoulders while saying "Whatever" or "Boring"? Does that make sense?

Moon- I love your kitty story, and yes, she smelled, but luckily it was a detached garage. The car that hit her probably smelled too after she sprayed!

Wii definitely counts.
I could never do golf very well. XD I stick with tennis on Wii Sports, Sword-fighting on Wii Sports Resort.
Though I mostly use the Wii for my old Gamecube games. I'm very loyal to my Gamecube stuff.

anyone here play Animal Crossing? My town's name is ahem, Gabriel - but I haven't played in a while so there must be weeds everywhere
I like that the wii game you can invite people from anywhere in the world, and you can visit them in their towns, loads of fun
rock band is fun, can't wait till they add some PG songs - leesh and I both play guitar

Mine was the same way Big, until he got his own cell phone and then it was texting non-stop time, lol. Thank god for unlimited cell phone plans otherwise I would have had to file bankruptcy just to pay the bill.

I have Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing DS, Animal Crossing for the Wii.
Since I was young I've called the town "Chao Cap" after an old Sonic the Hedgehog game love.
I play in bursts, then usually start over to not deal with the weeds and abandoned town. XD;
Rock Band IS fun, but I have all three games and there's been difficulty with moving 2's songs over. Bugs me a LOT. And one of the guitars broke a while back. . . I digress.
