Unfortunately, for Peter, the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA does not appear to be well rated as a venue. Not sure why, exactly. My experience with the place last night was good. Decent audience for the most part. that kept growing throughout the night as the weather dried up. Can't beat free parking! Getting in and out of there was a breeze. As for the concert, well Peter blew my mind again. Did not know what to expect as I hardly read anything about the tour. I was there with unbiased ears and eyes and I was not disappointed. Peter's voice is a strong as ever, the music powerful and the visuals, as always artistry at its best. Just one productive critique: a couple of "feel good" songs should appear in the mix.

Let's get this straight: Philadelphia and Camden, although across the same river, have nothing in common.

obviously but PG has to play there because he sure wont fill the Wachovia Center.I applaud the local fans for selling out this show considering the prices.

Chicago In the middle of another of Gabriel's introductory anecdotes, some yahoo in the crowd shouted for "Shock the Monkey." "I'm trying to give that up," Gabriel quipped. "It makes you go blind." http://blogs.suntimes.com/music/2011/06/peter_gabriel_at_united_center.html

Actually, I'm pretty sure the person was joking, and everyone in the audience laughed as soon as the person shouted that. Can't say for sure, but I think Peter was amused at the person's timing for that one from the expression on his face for the person's timing. He was introducing Rhythm of the Heat. To a certain degree, I think it's becoming a joke between Peter and his fans, more then the person shouting it being serious. :-] Mostly as by now, most people going to his New Blood concert already know he's not playing many of the Big Time pop songs.

Thank You Little Rainbow for posting Saratogas review. I meant to pick up a newspaper this morning, but forgot. So I am grateful to you for posting it. This review was well done. and for the quote of the day: Now, that you can't do with a rock band (P Gabriel)
