I like this idea. The dutch have many experience with houses build on the water. Maybe it might get necessary in the future, but it's also very cool!

It is a beautiful structure, but let's hope it need not be fully implemented on a massive scale since while those aboard it would survive, countless others would have already perished as a direct result of our arrogance, ignorance, and greed.

It's very futuristic! Hey you build it, they will come!!! It looks like something from a movie set-
"light-bulb"
This will end up a set in James Camerons next film!
It is very cool, such a mind.
It as an 'Ark'?
If and or when the earth shifts, i would much rather
go- than stay. I could never afford a seat and would certainly not be invited so I would embrace my death with intention and ceremony. Now if it came suddenly with no time to prepare- wow, are we ready?

I would stay there too - but only if they grew hydroponic pot (hydropot? :-]) in there.

I hope this sort of thing is not needed for the reason stated in the article but it just looks cool.

Cool design. Reminds me of the luxury space liner on Fhloston Paradise in the movie Fifth Element.

For some reason it doesn't seem to me that it would stay upright in rough water.

Fancy houseboats Bob. I'm wondering about Dramamine dispensers?

Looks like Australia may be placing some orders.
Something tells me we ain't seeing the forest from the trees. Perhaps one of the Elders, Mary Robinson, the former Prez of Ireland is right on this one.
