Saw 'Deep Blue Sea' 2011 with Rachel Weisz. Nearly static melodram with simple end-message of surviving a love without happy-end in the times of 1940. It was the more freezing as there were only 5 persons in the 1000 person cinema in Chelsea. 3 points I'm looking forward to watch the Rolling Stone Film 'Shine a Light' by Scorsese tonight on arte.

missed that one too. Both my captain ! Dangerous method - Cronenberg - Masculine actors are playing their part briliantly (all three). Unfortunatly Keira Nightley fails to inhabit hers and turn what could have been a bright moovie into a good one. But has to be seen and recomanded anyway. Hugo Cabret- Scorcese brillant, full of poetry apart from some tiedous passages that could have been suppressed.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo - it was really good. I've read all of the books, so I knew what to expect. There were a few differences, but they stayed really close to the book. Rooney Mara was fantastic!

Apollo 18 Kind of creepy, in a great Sci-Fi way...
Nemesis_47 3 January 2012 at 5:23pm Posts: 989 (0 today) Status: offline
I saw Apollo 18 a couple of days ago - all I can say is - spider-rocks (shudder) and I don't mean spider's rock little off topic - big meteor shower starting Wens.

Charlie & the Chocolate Factory-( The latest one with Johnny Depp, but I also like Willy Wonker & the Chocolate Factory, the original version with Gene Wilder).

During the holydays there was a Stan&Ollie serie on arte- also a biografical background film. That was sooo cool, now I'm an even more helpless fan of Stan and also Ollie -- sometimes Stan uses me for incarnation!!
