Well, just on the slim chance that someone is trying to get in contact with me, my computer went into a "boot loop" (that's what the tech guy called it) and it can't be fixed until tomorrow at the earliest.
Coming to you live from the Landsdowne Public Library. Hooray for public libraries!

Just a quick note - my hard drive completely crashed and is now being held nostage at a local computer repair shop. I've lost so much money in writing assignments I could have bought a new computer by now.
I've been forced to write with pen and paper. ARRGGHH!!! I miss this forum and can't wait to catch up on the news, esp. how PG did in Hollywood Bowl.

Thanks, folks. My hard drive couldn't be saved, so I have to start all over again, reinstalling Windows, the printer, contacting clients to confirm I haven't died. I come here to keep what's left of my tiny little mind from going ker-blooey.

Hmmmm, you didn't happen to stay at Embassy Suites when you were in NY did you??? My hard drive was badly corrupted by their server and I have yet to hear back from them about it.
Luckily mine could be saved, It took 2 days and $75.00 but at least all my "stuff" was saved.

Nope - I was at the La Quinta and decided to go completely unhooked - didn't even turn on the TV. I only have a PC and not a laptop. I was ging to get a new computer this year, but then the New Blood was announced and I knew where my prioroties were.
Rev Bob: Don't computers make our lives so much easier ARRRGGHHHH!!! Almost makes me long for the days when I was homeless! (Almost)
