I agree Ceridwen

There is a thing that i don't understand: why no one has made and official video of this incredible show of "The Lamb lies down on Broadway"?

Ok,it was 1975,but i think there was the means to do this.
For example Pink Floyd in 1971 recorded perfectly "Live at Pompei",a great show entered in the history of Music.
It would have been simply fantastic!

Your eyes must be better than mine. Couldn't see a damn thing except a bunch of blurs. Interesting sounds, though!
About 1990, there was a documentary video mande about Genesis and the band members said the Lamb tour was plagued with problems, to the point where only 4 or 5 shows in the whole tour went off without a hitch.
Ticket sales were horrible for that tour (especially in America where the album hadn;t even been released yet) so there was absolutely no demand at the time to film the entire show.

Thank you Rraven for the answer.
So,they were not satisfied, and if we consider that they, especially Peter, are perfectionists. . . .
But you know, for us fans (i talk for me,of course) a movie not perfect would be fine too,but certainly my point of view is different from a point of an Artist. . . :-]

What I would give to have been there in the audience in 1975....
"The Lamb" is an amazing journey into the subconscious mind of our hero, PG, set to the insanely original, experimental and beautifully expressive progressive rock score by the incredibly gifted musicians of Genesis (Tony, Mike, Phil, Steve)...I WILL FOREVER LOVE IT !!! Thank you Genesis, for this masterpiece.

BTW, thanks, K'Ehleyr, for posting the Swiss footage!
It's a thrill seeing vintage Genesis footage from the '70's.
PG's voice gives me such a high.....ahhhh!!
Especially when he sings as Rael, just love the punk energy he brings to the part.
We PG fans/addicts can never get enough....
