Shoo-WEE!! Well done, boys! Not sure who'd be able to as good a job with PG. . .

As long as it isn't the Dave Matthews Band. I really did not like their cover of Sledgehammer.

Dang, Pearl Jam did a NICE job there! I don't know who would do PG, but if it were Genesis we were talking about i'd pick The Flower Kings, who have done nice versions of both Cinema Show and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, or perhaps Spock's Beard, since Nick D'Vigilio has completely redone the Lamb as well as play it in it's entirety with Kevin Gilbert. Or Maybe Transatlantic, which is a "supergroup" with members of TFK, Spock's Beard, Marillion and Dream Theatre. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svSVnvYhc5Q

Hey!! Great version of one of the song i LOVE best of my favourite Album of Genesis!! "The Return of G.Hogweed" by Transatlantic, great!! BRAVI!! Ok. . . . i do not want to be unpleasant :-], the singing of Peter in original version is little bit aggressive,ok,but there is much elegance. In this version the singing of the singer is aggressive and a bit too "rock",but he is ok,the band is really good! About PG,i do not know. . . .it is difficult because a personality like Peter can lead singers to imitate him,and this is not good, because the result would be poor. . . . I do not know. . . . .

I love this version by Pearl Jam. When it came out, it made me go back and revisit the original version by the Who. I think I like Pearl Jam better. And the movie was sad but good. Adam Sandler in a straight role with a sad story to tell is a switch up but very good. Deb Grant

My hunch is it will be Bruce Springsteen. Just a hunch.

I vote for Elbow. Or maybe TV on the Radio, if they weren't too 'indie'.

Good suggestion Pod Caste. I could see Guy Garvey singing PG, he's got so much warmth and texture in his voice. I'd like to see someone like Tom Robinson do it. Does the person being honored get to choose?
