Well, when we see where Peter went with costume and make-up it would be hard for me to believe that he wasn't a fan of Arthur Brown.

Thinking about this band, I watched this vid and was struck by how the young PG looked like Edie Sedgwick. I know the big eyes, black polo look was ubiquitous but its more than that.

Huh, I already thought that about Edie Sedgwick too once. Especially with this look on her face:

There are some photos of Gabriel with the same facial expression. That's when I thought of a similarity. Unfortunately I cannot find such a picture of Gabriel right now.

Oh yeah and Tree Mouse, I posted I Put A Spell On You done by Nina Simone cuase I read several times that it was once his favourite song. He loves Nina Simone I think. In the biography somebody said he saw him singing standing on a table at Charterhouse and trying to sound like Nina Simone. Ha! Dude tried to sound like a lady! Great!

Now TM, is it the eyeliner, the lyrics or the charisma?!!! :-]

There's something about the diva-like, yet nervous, self-conscious way she is before she begins to sing.
And the eyeliner and charisma.
I don't know about the lyrics. Did you spot something Duddy?
