yes Clothy, we need once a year and more than ever the subversive appearance of a man giving for free, in this counting world.

Going to see John Prine tomorrow night. It was one of my husband's Christmas gifts. I'm not very familiar with him, but my husband loves his music, and is really touched by his lyrics.

One of my co-workers (and band mate) is putting on his annual Pink Floyd Tribute show this month. They use Lasers, fog machines, cool animated backgrounds, and top notch sound... I may try to catch it...if I am not working O.T.....

WOMAD in July, plus some of guitarists at St Ives Festival in September(Chris Wood, Steve Tiltson and John Renbourn). Still undecided whether to see Spamalot in May.

This past Friday, I won tickets and got to see a sold-out Gotye concert, with Kimbra as the opening act this past Friday, April 6th! The concert sold out months ago but the local radio station- KBCO had a Select-A- Set contest and if your set was chosen, 2 a day at noon, the prize was a meet & greet with Gotye and tickets for the show! I heard about the contest on April 1st, the very last day the select-a-set could be entered. I got home, logged into the radio station, found the entry form and submitted this- "For me, these three songs invoke Hope, Joy and the Promise of Love Eternal" You and Me by Dave Matthews Here Comes the Sun- The Beatles Loving you is Easy- Sarah Mclachlan, I hit entered and sent in my set. I didn't put any energy into winning and basically forgot about it. It truly didn't matter if I won, the only song I knew of Gotye's was the big hit- Somebody That I Use To Know and I knew that there would be thousands of entries for such an awesome prize!! Well, Friday around 10:30 I was driving home from meeting a friend for tea and I suddenly was washed over with a 'thought' that I would get home and there on my caller ID would be KBCO, calling to tell me I won. Sure enough, I got home, went to my phone and saw Clear Channel on my phone, I WON!! I had 3.5 hours as the concert was that very evening. They played my set on the radio and it was just all very exciting. WOW, what a show too!! I was blown away with the adorable Kimbra, my new Girl Crush and Gotye, all I can say is wow, wow and wow again!! Truly a magnificent concert. I took some photos if anyone wants to see them! Most are of Kimbra- but got some great Gotye too. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150717769354162.419341.802034161&type=1&l=e1266e19c3 And check out the amazing Kimbra!! http://youtu.be/u1mUwwuw4Ik
