Just wondering, if that only happens to me. . . I tried several small size pics for the biography, and it is alright so far, JPG etc. Yet it says it is not JPG, and thus rejected, while everywhere else it works fine. Then I tried a few other ones from my new fotos, also JPG, the same errors. . . Here is the one, that I wanted there (we made some on sunday), now done via Photobucket here: http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u284/Chi65/me/3392bbe8.jpg Could anyone help me please?

Well I just saved that picture and then uploaded it without any problems as my biography picture. So that file from photobucket is definately ok. Is it possible that you have 2 copies of this image knocking around on your pc, and the one you are trying to upload isn't the same as the one you've put up on photobucket??(it certainly sounds like the file extension is different if its failing for that specific reason). You can maybe try what I just did: Follow your link to the picture on photobucket, right click the mouse on the image and save picture as. make sure that you save it somewhere you can easily find it again. Then try uploading that image. That one works for sure. Of course it could be a site issue, but easier to start with the things you can double check first.

Well, it is directly from my own PC, as always so far, and so far it all worked fine. If I post a photobucket link on the other hand, it does not even move one step further in the edit functions, no reactions at all. I also tried that way. . .Zero Puzzled, still. . .

No don't post the link to photobucket. instead follow the link till you see the image. Then click on it and right click your mouse until you see a new menu appear. On this menu you should see an option to save picture as. select this and save your picture where you can find it(desktop is usually best for now). Then come back to FMC and go to the edit option and browse for the biography image, and step through until you find the image which you saved on your desktop. Then save the changes and all should work. If it does, then chances are the original image you are trying to upload is saved with a different file extension. If it doesnt work, then its something else.

Sounds complicated, but possible. (Only, when you go several ways, the already not perfect quality will weaken even more, which is, why I prefer the direct desktop ones. . .) While for many times now the simple original desktop pics were doing fine. . .I can even bring them up again, whenever I feel like, for whichever place, only this one does not work here. It does on other places though. I wonder, if it has to do with the fact, that it was done via digital camera, while the others were not or just taken from the internet or so. . . However, there is no rush, and I can as well stay without the pic there or use the old one again. Anyhow, I will try the path, you mentioned. Thanks for encouragement!

WOW, it worked! Although, as said, it lost qualities. . .but better than nothing. Thanks a lot, Paul!!

And as thanks, here some pics from my daughter Kris Alice, but don't you ever tell her! (I may delete them some time later). http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u284/Chi65/me/Kiki/21269cdf.jpg http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u284/Chi65/me/Kiki/ee747933.jpg http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u284/Chi65/me/Kiki/2196ef1b.jpg
