As for the news from Arlene, considering the cover decision of peter gabriel, I found this:
http://tashed.wordpress.com/2008/03/25/two-bands-you-have-to-know-about-mgmt-vampire-weekend/
There you can download the mentioned song (for free)
Cape cod kwassa kwassa (where Peter is mentioned)
and another one:
The kids don?t stand a chance
Also they lead you to the according MySpce and their own website, where you can hear more, to get an idea.
Enjoy!
(again, thanks to Arlene, for letting us know about the news in the Fullmoon greetings, where she posted a link to the decision article)

I posted a link to the original BBC 6 Music article about a week or so ago in this thread
http://www.petergabriel.com/forums_list_thread.php?parent_id=lWU5QxigL0dARAXrtdY.
Reading through the article, I'm not sure if the VW cover will go ahead for sure, but it sounds as if it could be likely. At least maybe now that it has been announced it will! Perhaps there will be something more on covers in Peter's June update.
But thanks to Arlene for including the Gigwise article in the Full Moon Greeting - I'm pleased it got noticed

I think, its just a game for Peter and he plays it like a game. . .if he needs it for "enlightening". . .it wouldn't harm anybody anyhow.
Since he continues the "game " with more planned "interactions", as he is talking about, it can become quite funny.
