I just found out recently that Peter Gabriel is doing a song (or soundtrack?) for Pixar's upcoming WAL-E. Is that true?
If so, guess that completes the round of my fave singers doing recent songs for films: Kate Bush for Golden Compass (too bad the song sucked) and Sinead O'Connor for The Water Horse (haven't seen it yet).

He said in the January update that he is working on a song for Wall-E. I don't know how solid it is, but I hope it works out. We're running the trailers at my theatre and it looks like a good one (not that Pixar ever makes bad movies, of course).

That's pretty wild James! Yikes!
At least there is mostly water to land in!
Hopefully it won't explode when it hits!!
It was also mentioned in the news of late that an astroid will be passing by earth, real soon.
get out those telescopes!
And then there is Nibiru.
