However, Its maybe time to introduce this singer to you, who shared a concert with Meredith Monk here a few years ago and participated in the already mentioned film "Heimatklänge", and it was great! So, to give you an idea, there are a few related videos on youtube, that should show, how interesting the world and the people around this are. You may start with this piece from Erika Stucky: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On6JGOagFGU and an additional fine interview with her: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGhmwPXm3C4&NR=1 all done on this Portugese world music festival 2007 www.fmm.com.pt There is much more behind, as you can see. So, get your bells out once more and try yourself!

Ok, this way is better, but it may take a bit: http://www.fmm.com.pt plus or before the wiki link to that festival: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FMM_Sines_-_Festival_M%C3%BAsicas_do_Mundo

Also this is worth listening to, a very new method of singing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeKx6EuMZWM :-]

And here is a short intro for the film Heimatklänge, sorry in German, but still interesting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu7-rUQlXhQ it also includes overtone singing, and several interesting experimental musicians, plus some fine cowbells, hehe.:-] The maker of the film is Stefan Schwietert, now in our yodeling group, as explained before.

Craizy style, when she starts, and all in that outfit, haha! Could be almost overtones or intense asian stuff. . . Thanks! Watch her, if she is really going somewhere, could well be! Any more strange stuff around? :-]

Oh yes, Yoko was one of the definitely borderless experimentalists for voice! I loved to hear her and it was just the time, when I tried everything posible myself. Here something from Meredith monk, who was around already at Yoko's time. . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8N7gBMTF2lc and a fine sequence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5z9UVExVaI she also copes a lot however, here is a beautifull video made by someone to her "boat song", using Andy Goldsworthy images: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qY3957U_d4&feature=related and her website plus her relation to/with Björk. . . http://www.meredithmonk.org/ The one to Erika Stucky you know already (see starter) Enjoy!
