OK, perhaps more important for those of us who can vote in America, but an interesting way for the rest of the world to see who they agree the most with. Here's a way to see if the candidate you are supporting supports your ideas, or at the least doesn't worry about the stuff you don't worry about. http://www.dehp.net/candidate/ Big surprise, not, Kucinich was my top guy. BTW, the only reason I do not support the current No Child Left Behind as I do not think it has been effective in it's current state and has left a lot of children behind. 48 Kucinich Disagreements: (2) No Child Left Behind, Iran Sanctions Unknowns/Other: (0) 40 Gravel Disagreements: (1) Iran Sanctions Unknowns/Other: (6) ANWR Drilling, Assault Weapons Ban, Guns - Background Checks, Wiretapping, Net Neutrality, Minimum Wage Increase 30 Edwards Disagreements: (5) Death Penalty, No Child Left Behind, Patriot Act, Iran - Military Action, Same-Sex Marriage Unknowns/Other: (1) Border Fence 28 Clinton Disagreements: (6) Death Penalty, No Child Left Behind, Patriot Act, Border Fence, Iran - Military Action, Same-Sex Marriage Unknowns/Other: (0) 28 Obama Disagreements: (3) Patriot Act, Border Fence, Same-Sex Marriage Unknowns/Other: (3) No Child Left Behind, Torture, Iran - Military Action 24 Biden Disagreements: (5) Death Penalty, No Child Left Behind, Patriot Act, Border Fence, Same-Sex Marriage Unknowns/Other: (3) Iran - Military Action, Same-Sex Civil Union, Universal Healthcare 23 Richardson Disagreements: (5) Death Penalty, Assault Weapons Ban, Patriot Act, Iran - Military Action, Same-Sex Marriage Unknowns/Other: (3) No Child Left Behind, ANWR Drilling, Iraq War 23 Dodd Disagreements: (5) Death Penalty, No Child Left Behind, Patriot Act, Border Fence, Iran - Military Action Unknowns/Other: (3) Same-Sex Marriage, Same-Sex Civil Union, Universal Healthcare 11 Paul Disagreements: (12) Abortion Rights, Embryonic Stem Cells, ANWR Drilling, Assault Weapons Ban, Guns - Background Checks, Citizenship Path for Illegals, Border Fence, Net Neutrality, Iran Sanctions, Minimum Wage Increase, Same-Sex Marriage, Universal Healthcare Unknowns/Other: (1) Same-Sex Civil Union -16 T. If I were there I'd vote for the black guy. At first I believed that the liberals liked him just because he's black, then I read more about what he's saying, and I found it rather interesting. Wish we had people like him in Italy: young, intelligent and determined, not like those two old buffoons who have disgraced our little country in the last three elections. :-]

I got Kucinich first as well! I have never heard about him before, but he sure seems like a decent guy! ^^ I wish I could vote! 57 Kucinich Disagreements: (0) Unknowns/Other: (0) 46 Gravel Disagreements: (1) No Child Left Behind Unknowns/Other: (5) ANWR Drilling, Guns - Background Checks, Wiretapping, Net Neutrality, Minimum Wage Increase 35 Obama Disagreements: (3) Patriot Act, Border Fence, Same-Sex Marriage Unknowns/Other: (2) No Child Left Behind, Torture 32 Edwards Disagreements: (3) Death Penalty, Patriot Act, Same-Sex Marriage Unknowns/Other: (1) Border Fence 31 Clinton Disagreements: (4) Death Penalty, Patriot Act, Border Fence, Same-Sex Marriage Unknowns/Other: (0) 29 Richardson Disagreements: (3) Death Penalty, Patriot Act, Same-Sex Marriage Unknowns/Other: (3) No Child Left Behind, ANWR Drilling, Iraq War 26 Dodd Disagreements: (3) Death Penalty, Patriot Act, Border Fence Unknowns/Other: (3) Same-Sex Marriage, Same-Sex Civil Union, Universal Healthcare 21 Biden Disagreements: (4) Death Penalty, Patriot Act, Border Fence, Same-Sex Marriage Unknowns/Other: (2) Same-Sex Civil Union, Universal Healthcare -2 McCain 11/1 -4 Paul 11/1 -9 Giuliani 13/2 -22 T. You mean Obama Caste? A few minutes ago (when I knew less about all this) I thought he was the best choice aswell. And I thought perhaps that Clinton woman could be good. But I could never ever vote for someone who wants to keep the bloody death penalty! Arggg! Btw, Caste, I love your picture! ^^

Squeak :-] Yes, I mean Obama - but I took the test, and it seems that no candidate would suit me: the first one is T. Thompson (?!?), with a score of 17. Obama comes third after Giuliani. Same problem that I have here: being "socially liberal, economically conservative" (I just googled for it to see if it was correct and discovered that it's a "popular phrase"), in the end I don't feel represented by any political party. Besides, is there any candidate (with a real chance of succeeding) who is against the death penalty and possession of firearms? Again, just curious.

No, of course Kucinich doesn't stand a chance. He's probably far too good for America. And still, if he was a swedish politician he would probably be far to righty for me.

I also got Kucinich, great minds usually think alike. Followed by, Gravel, Obama, and Clinton. I really have to confess I don't even know who Kucinich is and before you go thinking I must not have a TV, it's not that I just know I can't trust the news to be objective and therefore; in my opinion it may as well all be a badly scripted movie. Don't you just find it sad when art tells the truth and the facts lie? I'm not even so sure we even elect or have any real voting power anymore. Seems to me the cat is out of the bag. But I will continue voting just in case (hopefully) I'm wrong.

I got Kucinich too. Although nobody scored very high on my agree-o-meter?

And these are the results from the Norwegian jury: 21 Giuliani Disagreements: (6) Death Penalty, Torture, Citizenship Path for Illegals, Minimum Wage Increase, Same-Sex Marriage, Universal Healthcare Unknowns/Other: (3) No Child Left Behind, ANWR Drilling, Kyoto Not a bad hit, this one. Giuliani is my man, followed by McCain, Thompson and Obama.

I wasn't surprised at all to find that Kucinich's views match mine almost 100%. I was surpised to find how close a second Obama's views were. I will vote for Kucinich in the Primary even though I know he won't win. I do hope Obama and Huckabee continue to do well. I think eventually Huckabee's please all approach will turn against him in debates and he will turn into a please none. This is why he's my top choice for the Republicans.
8thPlanet 8 January 2008 at 8:33pm Posts: 693 (0 today) Status: offline
With regard to Huckabee. Seems like an OK guy, but I could never vote for someone who does not believe in evolution. Not in the 21st century.

I'd worry if any of those self serving morons matched me. This is a Peter Gabriel forum. Who cares about usa politics here?

Perhaps those who are participating in this thread care? There is a disclaimer on the thread stating non-pg related so you can't say you weren't warned

Hey Jeremy! "Who cares about usa politics here?" you wrote. I understand what you meant with that, but: Somehow i think: In time like THIS, EVERY Earthcitizen SHOULD care (at least, a little!) about what is going on. We ALL know that it became somehow useless who and what you elect. . . (don`t get me wrong. . .it IS STILL IMPORTANT to elect!). But if one DON`T elect, he should NOT moan about the Endresults. I was never a Politicfan. . . but when the Green-Party established here in germany. . .i became a Member. Btw: Thanx for accepting my Friendsrequest @ MySpace! And. . . hey J.o.W: Do YOU have a MySpace-Place????? I searched several Nicknames i thought they could work. . .but didnt found you over there. Greetz, Ray
