May I speak. 23 February 2012 at 11:13pm Posts: 319 (1 today) Status: offline
It's time friend time, for peace your spirit ached, the days chased the days, each passing moment raked away a grain of life, and while we would have rather have you lived on, low, all at once you died. Here happiness is not but peace and freedom are. A. Pushkin. That is real imagination, which is something Man 5 has too.

Very nice AreBor - a voice of reason and truth, you are that is lol “History, despite its wrenching pain, cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again.” Maya Angelou Each day as I begin my Medicine Wheel walk, one of the first things I do is surrender my ego, my doubts, my fears and the voice asked me to share with you to “also surrender our illusions”, those pictures that we have used to embellish our stories. So, I thank you for allowing this lengthy discourse. I am in the process of sifting thru the pages of my life story and letting go of those things I have used to protect my injured little child all of these years. I would ask the same of you my friends, for how else can we end years of subjugation to those relics of the past that have allowed us to entomb ourselves. Let us hold sacred space for each of us to find our truth. Blessings and Love, Shirley Catanzaro

Hope everyone's o.k now?.... Here's something I wrote today Finding Beauty Don't tell me that I am never there or that you cannot find me. I am always constant. Existing in every moment. Yet, you must walk carefully to avoid the shattered pieces. They are but abstractions magnifying your pain. I am not where these broken shards wound. Let them go. Slow down, look, breathe, listen Embrace me, for I am you. I am your art, your voice, your smile. I am the dew on leaves, the words you speak, the laughter of a child. I am the moonlight, the red boots on a saturday night, the rain. Slow down, look, breathe, listen don't try to force it, you will find me In the simple things breathe--- there I am in the small spaces, while the world rushes past. slow down, look, breathe, listen you will find me. I am beauty Anne

The Devil in the Dark In the dark of my night the devil would come to me working on a mystery wanting my help in setting him free can't we just let it be let it be In the long dark night of my soul the devil whispers to me Only you can set me free Come to me Come to me Take my hand and lead me to the promised land the promised land Just before dawn in the chill of the night the devil sigh's to me Once I am really free I can't reveal my destiny must take cover, run and hide but in the Spring when the buds are blooming I'll take you home by the sea and a rebel's wife ye'll be a rebel's wife ye'll be inspired by misheard lyrics in a Tom Petty song

It all started in Canada, when a high school jock saw a young teen harassed and bullied for wearing a pink shirt - he defended the young man to the bullies, then he rallied his friends - next day hundred of teen should up at their high school wearing pink shirts - a sea of pink shirts in support of a young man, who's only crime was to wear a pink shirt to school. Now it's an international day around the world - pink shirts everywhere Pink Shirt Day Today we are in "the pink" to support the ones who can't speak for themselves There are tons and tons of bullys hurting the weak so that they can't speak Today we support the ones who are hurt, in school in life in the world give it a try support them when they cry help heal the hurt wear a pink shirt wear a pink shirt to support the victims of cruel bullys fully and completely cm mountain 24 Feb. 2012

Angel with a Broke Wing She lays at your feet broken and tired an angel with a broken wing and she sings her sad song to try and right wrongs - right wrongs The angel gave up on you it's true, she lost her faith and love for the ones who beat her and scorned her Shouts at the top of her lungs This is what you wanted this curse What could be worse could be worse The angel with the broken wing cries for her children - no sin, no sing no song - just blood, pain and wrongs too many wrongs this is what you did this is your story the last glimpse of your glory she cries for the man and you smile that cruel smile all the while she sings and cries and wrings her hands and ask you why - why and more whys she cries and cries for all mankind The journey of the Golden Hind is over, gone, lost in a field of Clover it's over, it's over cm mountain feb.24/12

HAHAHAHAHA - surprisingly good! Although "pezzata" and "commossa, referred to the armpit, are Roman slang words for "sweaty", meaning respectively "patched" and "driven to tears" (gotta love those Romans!). And the rest is: if you smell it, it smells like pit cheese. Bet y'all didn't know I was also a poet!

If you want to have fun with those translators, take a PG song translate it into Japanese, or Chinese then translated it back to English - it comes back slightly screwed up and can be funny

Thorn in my side There you are again you won't let me sleep you invade my dreams and stir up the memories Always laughing at my screams I hide in my castle keep but you break down the walls and crash my sleep Nowhere to run or hide you are the thorn in my side your dark spell takes me over you inflame my soul and hover over me as I sleep I awake to your taste you burn me waste me I know you lied and lied always the thorn in my side A captive was I but I broke free you hunted and came after me I gave up the fight that hot summer's night I gave it up and surrendered drifting on a summer's tide Saw you standing there A thorn in my side A thorn in my side cmm

But does it take me erroneous, you are powerful when I'm behind in the island Avalon you don't take me erroneous, You are powerful When the argon sunset of burns does come front You did the VE take does remain night the VE took it thinks that.

Until You Dare by Eric Bazilian Until you dare to go where no man has ever been before To leave behind the safety that you struggle for And get a taste of madness Until you dare to open up your heart and get it spat upon Drink the wine and smell the sadness Take the goodness with the badness Until you dare How will you know how far you might have gone How high you might have climbed How hard you might have fallen And how will you learn how good it feels to be alive How you gonna learn how to fly when you're so busy crawling God knows where... Until you dare to be what you are in spite of everything Less than a god but so much more than a king In spite of how they hound you Until you dare to open up your eyes and see what's going on It's really nothing so profound You just watch it going on around you until you dare How will you know how far you might have gone How high you might have climbed How hard you might have fallen And how will you learn how good it feels to be alive How you gonna learn how to fly when you're so busy crawling Until you dare... And now the slate is clean Your cup it runneth over though the times are lean And you're still getting over but until you dare To go where your mind has never been before How will you know how far you might have gone How high you might have climbed How hard you might have fallen And how will you learn how good it feels just to be alive How you gonna learn how to fly when you're so busy crawling How much more will you take before you make your move How you gonna learn how to live instead of just simply dying Until you dare.
