Thank you Mozo is Rael for the link.
It looks like this one offers the best of both worlds. Much appreciated.
I'm wondering how well it would 'travel' given that it's a relatively fragile item but I'm guessing it's no worse than when it would be shipped to an actual retail store.
Tks again !!

Does anyone know if the Athens DVD is a full concert from Athens or does it have In Your Eyes and Biko from The Blossom in Ohio?
POV has In Your Eyes and Biko from The Blossom.

Soooo... in the end I am afraid I am going to get the contraption.
Cause I'm a sheep and a collector and I have to celebrate my motorcycle driving license and it's going to be a birthday gift so why not?

THOM, I completely forgot where I posted this question. 2 weeks later I found it.
My brother and I drove from Detroit to the show (without tickets). Ended up about 8th row by Sledgehammer. While there we met a women who was in charge of film footage. She said her company where only shooting "In Your Eyes" and "Biko".
But, I know that "Biko" for sure is from the Blossom, because I see myself in the video. There were 3 shows on the So tour I went to and Athens was not one of them.
I am pretty sure the live version of "Biko" for the 12'' also is from the Blossom too.

i have never heard this discussion before. caste, are you agreeing that the biko 12" is from cleveland, or confirming that "biko" and "in your eyes" from PoV were filmed there (and not athens)?

In Your Eyes on POV was shot in at least two locations, or two different performances at least. Easy to see this is true -- the woman dancer's clothes change.

I am confirming that the 12" live version of Biko is from Cleveland.
Don't know about the POV version, never heard anything about it being filmed elsewhere.

an excellent soundboard recording (audio only) of 27-Jul-1987 Blossom Music Centre, Cleveland OH exists, but this show was not filmed. the prior philly show was pro-shot, and soundboards were made of both shows. if anything of PoV is from cleveland, it's audio only.
@melodyof1974: i was at the pine knob show.
@laughograms: PoV was filmed over two nights in athens.

i may sell before retirement, but that's a few years away. besides, i hope the economy will pick up by then. currently, it's a buyers market.

I sent in a photo and story for the book. How can I find out if it made the final cut without spending $100?

it's not my website. i have used it as a resource for years. i was just surprised to see the webmaster is selling his collection. the prices seem reasonable (see link below). i do not plan to sell at the moment, but i'll send you a price list when i do. i need the economy to pick up before i sell anything. i suspect you probably own most of what's in my collection.

no, i did not. previously, i saw him in kazoo in '82 and at pine knob in '83. being a small town boy, i tended to avoid shows in the big, big city.
