Can we get Peter to record the entire Security Album with just drums??

I would think it's unlikely. Why would you desire such a thing?

Drums only? I don't understand meaning. Or maybe do you want drums and Peter's voice? Then it would be different, but what about the absence of Levin's bass and stick?

I love the way the drums sound on Security and PG3, but after listening to Sky Blue again yesterday I was thinking more how it would be killer to hear just the vocal harmonies at the end with the Blind Boys and Peter. It really gives you chills to hear it. Passion Sources had alot of drums and if you can still find them, the Games without Frontiers tracks were available as was Shock the Monkey on the Real World Remixed site.

Agreed, vocal harmonies of Peter with Blind Boys are really fantastic. But i think PGIV or PGIII are albums with refinement of sound, it's important. I can't imagine to hear PGIV without these sounds. Certainly voice of Peter can alone give us many emotions, but music is also very important.

Can we get Peter to record a new album - you know, with new songs, new melodies, new lyrics, a new tour...

@ Caste: Do you mean a new album with new old songs?
BridgestoneMB2 18 September 2012 at 2:29am Posts: 3 (0 today) Status: offline
Of course Peter's voice! Also Tony can pound the drums very well. He Adrian Belew and Bill Bruford had a great drum solo with King Crimsom many years ago. I think the album would be an amazing conceptual piece. Drums are the center piece of this album and I would love to hear how the songs are reworked to create the same meaning or a new one.
