Hats off PG! Been riding the waves - was lost at sea. Got New Blood as a gift for Christmas and can't stop listening to it. Many thanks for including such great versions of Intruder and Darkness. Can't wait to see the DVD. As always, PG is a sight for sore eyes.

After watching the New Blood Live In London (and watching it again and again), it definitely adds volume to the CD. I love watching the connection that goes on, from the vocals by Melanie and Ana to the outstanding orchestra. For me, actually watching PG adds special spice to just listening. I wish I could have been in the front row of this one!

While I was not able to attend the London shows, I have been blessed with being able to catch THREE shows in the past two years. My first was for SMB at the Hollywood Bowl in LA. I was sorta near the stage on the far right side. At the very end was actually by the stage. But in 2011 I was so very lucky! I first went to the Dallas show and it was amazing! I had a seat to the mid left and was almost at the stage and could see everything up close. The second half of the show really made it fantastic as I decided to walk the few feet to the actual stage (and then everyone else followed). It was a very small venue, which made it so much better. Peter came and stood right infront of me, just inches away. I had to crane my neck back to look up at him and he looked down at me and smiled. The rest of the show as very exciting as the audience really started getting into it and so did Peter, Mel, Ana and the Orchestra. He was standing pretty much in front or to the side of me the whole time and I was singing my wee heart out with him. I caught him glancing over at me smiling/winking in amusement (I hope) at my singing, lol. The third show was the last show of the north american tour in MN. I had a great seat again and of course got super close to the stage again, once again we made eye contact a few times (probably he was remembering that crazy lady who thought she was giving the concert instead of him, lol). But what really made that concert super special for me, was meeting up with several of my favorite Lunatics! We had a blast the day before the concert, taking in the cities sights and food. And we met up with Bob and his lovely friends before the concert. Wonderful memories and I really hope we can do it again soon!

Oh, I almost forgot! At the Hollywood bowl, Ane Brun made a quiet statement that she would be doing a very small concert the next day with only a certain number of tickets offered IF you could get them in time as you had to find out the number, call at a certain time and get them. Well I did, and brought my son this time. It was a very special concert and we sat in the very front row, close to the stage. Mel made an appearance and sang a song with Ane. Before that song started, Ane asked for audience participation. I sang my heart out with them and at the end, Ane not only thanked us, but said there was some very good singers (she looked at me and smiled when she said this). After the show I had the pleasure of meeting her, having our picture taken and given a signed CD. Love her voice!
