I have to say I was impressed...I pre-ordered New Blood. It was released on a Monday in England and was in my mail box in central Texas Wednesday. All hail Brithish air mail. I will confess to being somewhat surprised that is an incredible album (which I knew it would be). I guess after listening to it for a month I am just surprised that my favorate part of the album is Mel's vocals on Downside Up. I love it all but I am just amazed at the songs that I like the best off of it. Downside Up, Digging in the Dirt, Intruder, In your Eyes(which I didn't think could be improved on). Anyway, my two cents (humm maybe pence is more approprate) worth.

Agreed, it's a great album! The only issue for me is beyond A Quiet Moment. If Solsbury Hill could morph into either Father Son, Signal to Noise or (especially) Blood of Eden, it would be pretty much perfect IMHO.

Red Rain was my favorite, better than So. I still want secret world however.
