I've download it cause i bought in the womad shop...i've just heard it. no words, just amazing...a highkight absoultely from this record, marvellous voice, marvellous arrangements. A great surprise sincerely. I didn't expect this, i recommend it to everyone...a highlight of the record!!

I totally agree, it is extremely beautiful. I'm amazed it's not part of the standard record actually. Most people will miss it.

I ordered the deluxe edition, but did not see blood of eden in my digital library. Was it only available for a short period of time? I do have the entire cd in my digital library but it does not possess this gem. Am I missing something? Is it not available to me? I have yet to receive it since I live in Canada, will there be some instructions when the product arrives? Please help out a fan who loves the song and was blown away when he heard it live.

sound junky, "Blood of Eden" is included as a bonus track on the 2nd disc of the 2-Disc Special Edition... which is not part of the Deluxe Edition boxset, that only includes the single CD edition. Yeah, annoying, I know. Also remember that if you want a "complete" NEW BLOOD, you will need to get: - "Father & Son", only available as digital download through Real World if you order from them. - "Signal to Noise", only available as digital download from iTunes Store. - "Washing of the Water", only available as digital download from Amazon.com as part of the "The Book of Love" single.

I think it's crappy that fans have to go through hoops in order to get all of the songs. If you are going to call something the "deluxe edition" it should have all of the material. Love PG but this seems to be a bit of a rip off.

Yeah, it's funny how the music companies, in their justified efforts to fight rampant piracy (I am all for creator's rights protection), keep resorting to strategies that defeat the purpose and, quite frankly, encourage piracy. Anti-copy systems that damage the sound quality, hi-res output signal restriction, anti-theft stickers that leave glue residue and/or rip cover art (thus affecting only legitimate buyers), exclusive content on different retailers that forces you to multiple purchases to get a "complete" edition (and that if you are lucky enough to get a copy and avoid scalpers on eBay)... But that's corporate greed for you: defending their profits by damaging their client base.
