Hi all
I know I am stupid (!) but I am a little confused by the options available on the three choices of cd and dvd that we can order re Peters new blood work.
The way I see it is that you can by just the 1 cd that includes the studio recordings of new blood.
or
The double CD which includes the CD above and the orchestral version (no vocals)
or
The deluxe version, and it is here that I am confused. Yes I know about the fact it comes with DVD of the live performance of Hammersmith and booklet, but does it include a CD (audio) of the live show, plus the CD of the studio version plus the orchestral only version? i.e. If you order this version you get everything.....
If anyone can clarify this it would be most appreciated.
Regards to all

It looks like there are currently 4 versions of New Blood.
1) New Blood CD
2) Special Edition: 2 CDs, New Blood and New Blood Instrumental
3) Vinyl of New Blood CD including Solsbury Hill; available Nov. 7
4) Deluxe Edition "Contains New Blood Live In London DVD and Blu-ray (does not include 3D disc), New Blood (album), Live Blood (highlights recorded at the New Blood Live In London show), housed in a 60-page hardback photobook."
So, no -- the deluxe edition will not contain the instrumental disc.
Hope this helps.

it's a shale the deluxe don't contain it all. We shouldn't have to buy several versions of the same album !

It does seem difficult to buy everything easily. I think you have to get the 2cd special edition plus the deluxe package in order to cover your bases (and then perhaps buy one track -- Signal to Noise -- not available anywhere else).
If PG is the cash daddy, it's somewhat reassuring that some will go toward his work with Witness, Amnesty, and the Elders. Money well spent.

Forgot to note: Signal to Noise is available on iTunes, but not anywhere else (as far as I can tell).

To get it all, it think it's the box set, 2 disc and then 3d bluray as the one in the boxset is only 2d.
I do think you should get it all in a box set, the last Depeche Mode was great value for money.
Also if you get the vinyl and a download code for the tracks does it include the 2nd cd of stuff?
And companies wonder why people get things via alternative options they should look at the decisions they make when releasing things in this way.
I didn't know about the signal to noise exclusive itunes track but that is even worse as it is an album only track so any one who wants a physical cd of the rest will not be able to get it.
Plus i wonder if they will be some high rez donwnloads of this lot coming soon as some new amps out can take FLAC 192/24 bit signals.
It's not cheap being a PG fan that is for sure.

And can i check the cd in the box set is just audio from the dvd/bluray not the actual album ?
Again i didn't read that before, why have they done that anyone can do that them selves on their own pc within minutes.

I would be very surprised if the live audio CD is simply audio taken from the live DVD. What makes you think this? PG's live CDs, as far as I can tell, have always been produced with the idea that they are audio only (e.g. omitting banter between songs).
Of course, the one exception is the Encore live series.

I thought the same until i read the first post and am unclear
'The deluxe version, and it is here that I am confused. It doesn't say a copy of the new blood album 1 or 2 cd version, they need to clear this up as i can't be the only person who is unsure what they are going to get, the non 3d bluray almost made me cancel and if the cd is different that probably pushes the boat out.
I liked the encore talking so i hope all/some from this show is in but there wasn't any at the cinema version as far as i can remember but there was a lot on the nights included a restart of intruder on day 2 i think and errors with the screens raising during in your eyes.

We do know that the Deluxe package will contain the book and 4 discs:
- The 2D Bluray
- The (2D) DVD
- The Live CD
- and therefore one more disc.
It seems safe to assume that it's the normal 1CD studio album - doesn't it have to be in the Deluxe package?

I'm pretty confident that the deluxe edition is:
Live Blood dvd
Live blood blu ray (useless to me)
Live blood cd (very happy to be getting this)
New Blood single disk edition
I too wish that they had added a little to the price and included everything, ie, the 2 disc edition of New Blood for the instrumentals (& Signal to Noise, Father Son etc.). Seems a bit harsh on fans who are clearly loyal and willing to spend the cash to make them buy both deluxe and special editions - and thereby having two copies of the studio album - to hear everything.
Having said that, I'm very excited about getting hold of the deluxe, as I'm sure it will be exquisitely designed and all content will be superb. I will probably download those instrumentals I am particularly interested in at a later date, as well as Signal to Noise, a top PG tune for me.
