From the likes of it, the New Blood's version of 'Don't Give Up' will not have Kate Bush featured on vocals. That is a bit of a shame, since from hearing her latest galant effort on her double ablum '2005 Aerial', she sounded fantastic and very mature as always, as a creative soulful artist. Best Regard Peter, Sincerely, Mathieu, from Canada

Why? We have already original version with Kate Bush,i agree with you that she has a wonderful voice,i heard her last version of "Deeper understanding",and she is still today a fantastic artist! But i think it's not nice to Ane Brune: first because she is really fine, second because with New Blood Orchestra we have a different version of this song,so Ane has a different kind of singing, and her "signature" to the song is different,it must be like this. I think Peter has much respect to singers and people who "work" with him. . . I think this: we have the chance to enjoy art of wonderful Gabriel in a different flavours,we are lucky!

As long as it still sounds good. I agree with both of you on this point. On an related note, has anyone heard Willie Nelson and Sinead's version? It's great.

Well, it would be really nice to here Peter and Kate singing it with the orchestra, but it seems quite weird if she would only sing a song or two in a whole concert. Maybe she could participate in the New Blood album.

I quite enjoy Ana Brun's voice. It's sort of a cross between Buffy Saint Marie and Joni Mitchell. And Kate is busy doing Kate stuff. I also liked it when PG would sing the song by himself.
