I bought 'Scratch My Back' at Release but i never downloaded the 24-bit Version. Now, I want to purchase some HiFi headphones and I would really appreciate to download it with the code in the CD I never used.

I was listening to my new headphones all the time :-]
I got via email a download link for the 24bit Version. No code required. The website to enter the code is not longer existent. No special trick :-] , just a polite request, no verification needed. Perhaps you will get the same link but I do not post the link in the forum. Download was a little bit slow.
Honestly, I hear no difference between the 24bit 96 kilohertz and the 16 bit 44.1 kilohertz Versions. My equipment may cause the result oder my ears are not trained for that.
But what I can say is that now, I hear a huge difference between everything with the same quality as 256 kbit/s aac and higher compared to everything to 192 kbit/s mp3 or less.
Nevertheless "Scratch My Back" was perfect for making by purchase decision. The strings representing the details in the treble and they often starting one by one so I could figure out how the headphones are able to separate the instruments. Gabriel singing in the mids and more central so it was easy to decide how big the sound stage was.
If anyone is interested, I bought the Sennheiser HD598.

Sennheiser is most time a very good choice. I had some until my oldest nephew made snipets out of it.
