Unfortunately I cannot upload a picture, but I discovered something new today: Peter Gabriel and Neil Young already met in late summer 1993 during the "MTV Video Music Awards 1993". Peter attended this show together with Sinead O Connor. I knew he also met his Geffen-label-mate Kurt Cobain ("Nirvana") and his wife Courtney Love with Baby Frances Bean there. Some more pictures exist showing Peter and his friend Little Steven ("E-Street Band") and. . .I wondered: Peter Gabriel and Neil Young - side by side smiling into a camera. So this was actually before Neil wrote his track "Philadelphia" for the soundtrack (1994).

"Best Male Video" - "Steam" 3.) "Viewer`s choice award" - "Digging in the Dirt" 4.) "Best Editing" - "Steam" 5.) "Best Special effects" - "Steam" PG won 2 awards ("editing" and "effects" with "Steam") "jeremy" by pearl jam became "video of the year", "are you gonna go my way" by lenny kravitz became "best male"-clip.
